The staff at this resort were wonderful, from reception to the restaurants and bars. I couldn't praise them enough, from Genji who swapped "arigato" with us (I'm not Japanese btw) to Andrew with whom I had high brow conversations. And to Karen and Natalie who also looked after us. We upgraded to a two bedroom apartment for the last four nights as we found the hotel room wasn't a place to sit back and relax. Reception were very accommodating with this move. And then, there's George, maitre de at the restaurant. I was at the bar each night just watching this legend multi task like you wouldn't believe. I couldn't possibly do what he does. Great host. The food at the restaurant was excellent as well. Thanks for a great week George.

As others have said location is ok but we booked via another website not Accor and found out very quickly that you don’t get any assistance from the staff once you are asked what room number you are in, as we were in a “private” room. We were even refused a spare pool towel from reception. Went to the cafe for a coffee sorry you need to go to the pool bar. Go to the pool bar “sorry we don’t have a coffee machine here that’s in the cafe!” After this we ate out every day as I wasn’t prepared to give them our money with such a poor quality of customer service. If you have children under 13 then it’s great place to stay as the pool and adult only spa is packed with screaming busy kids enjoying themselves which is them just having fun until about 6pm then it’s really quiet once everyone heads in for dinner and the temperature drops. The main pool is freezing cold for adults and impossible to use the spa till all the kids went in for dinner after dark. Maybe if the pool temperature was warmer adults could use it too. If you are a couple and want a relaxing holiday this is not the place for you.

Disappointing private rental experience

I booked a two bedroom suite for 4 days 25/7 to 29/7. 3 People. Priced at just over $6000.00. This did not include room service or breakfast. For this price, I expect these two items, at a minimum. I gather that my booked accom was privately owned and I could not discuss this with the owners. I therefore cancelled my booking. I have been able to source better accommodation for 3K less, which includes room service and breakfast. The money was not the issue in this instance, but at an expensive resort, I expect the basics at the very least.

A most wonderful resort located a very short walk away from the main cafe and shop strip. Beach access at back of resort. Staff at check in were great - helpful and informative. The room - we stayed in a 2 bedroom plunge pool apartment- was so very nice. Comfortable beds in each bedroom , each with its own ensuite. Kitchen fully equipped including coffee pod machine. Ceiling fans , aircons, laundry and very comfortable lounge suite. Plunge pool was great though very visible from apartments above . A little bit of noise with people coming and going near the front door as we were close to the gate leading to the pool area. Only suggested improvement is that the blinds in the second bedroom could cover the full window as light from outside impacted sleep at night. Thank you for a most relaxing stay. We are already planning our return trip. Apartment serviced each day. Facilities amazing, pool bar as well as restaurant- great food. All staff so very pleasant . S
