Regarding the hotel’s setting, Mercure Ponta Delgada Azores occupies a former heritage mansion in the historic centre, and we have deliberately preserved many of its traditional architectural features. Some elements of the building therefore reflect its original character rather than the architecture of a newly built property. For us, this sense of place is an important part of the identity of the property. As for the bathroom amenities, you are right that conditioner and body lotion are standard in our upper room categories, helping to differentiate them. Nevertheless, we are always happy to provide them to all our guests upon request. And, yes, our dream is to become a truly luxurious experience.
