After staying in other well know chain hotels in Cambridge I can honestly say the value for money on room is way above the rest. You do have to pay for parking separately which did bump the price by £14 but the room and facility was worth it. The bar and restaurant are expensive! Be careful to chose your eating plans wisely as the menu is small and definitely not cheap. Large glass of Malbec was £12 but very enjoyable. The pool is great! Warm and salty not chlorinated, I was so lucky to be the only person in there over dinner time 5.30-18.30pm, I could have stayed in there all night! Staff were very professional. Informal but well presented, eager to help and understood when I had a gripe about my goats cheese and beetroot salad being very small as a main course. The issue was resolved immediately and with concern and professionalism.

Sauna was not working…again

It was ok although the sauna was not working for the second time in two visits here. The first time it was out of order, this time it was just off for no reason. The lady at reception did not seem to care.

We can assure you that this issue has been dealt with and will not happen again. The sauna does turn off after an amount of time and may need to be requested to be turned back on. Basic room. Good bed. Kettle didn’t work / 3 hours ti resolve. No response to WhatsApp messages - primary method to contact services team.
