It was indeed basic but clean and comfortable. Good shower, comfortable bed and so close to the airport. Can't rate cafe as didn't eat there. The stay was very good value with parking included for 5 days.

I stayed Sunday night before my flight in the morning. The room was very small and basic, felt a bit claustrophobic and bit like a prison cell. Bathroom was clean. the price was only £32, so I guess you get what you paid for

During my stay the staff were helpful and friendly. The facilities are adequate but limited. The hotel is close to the airport but it is not the closest!

The room was fine. It was not possible to open the window or adjust the tempretaure of the AC which made an uncomfortable night's sleep

You will hardly need anything more if you need to overnight in Luton before a flight.

Having stayed at several Ibis hotels before, I have always been pleased with the level of comfort. Whilst I appreciate this is a "budget" hotel, it was bare and a level of less than minimum supplied. I won't be staying again. You might say the price is low to reflect the locality to the airport but just a few days before - en route out of the country again - I stayed at the Luton Chiltern, which was nearly half the price of this stay - and included (not here) was a kettle in my room, teabags, and shower gel/shampoo (again, not included at yours) So due to my travel arrangements - carrying only 'carry-on' luggage and only necessary liquid items - I could not shower since there was no bathroom amenities other than the bar of soap, and I had the luxury of paying £2.40 for a small mug of tea which I had to get from reception. Not a fan. I will choose the Chiltern next time for all stays.

£36 can't argue - clean, tidy, quiet, easy checkout at 4:30am, display panel in reception tells you how long before next bus to airport is. No decent restaurants near by though.

I stayed 4 nights for business. On two occasions my key card won't work and have been acused by member of staff that I shouldn't be here because I should be checked out even I had another night to stay over already paid. That is what you not want to hear and deal with after all day of work.

Hotel is only 10 minutes walk from Luton Airport or train station. It is always clean. The breakfast is cheap about £5.

The staff were very helpful & friendly. The facilities were quite OK. However many guests suffered the lack of heating in their rooms and when the technician attended the fault was very easily identified and if he had been contacted immediately the heating would have been restored hours earlier. Worth noting.

Really convenient for an overnight stay when arriving at Luton on a late evening flight. Was very disappointed that there were no tea making facilities in the room.

Disappointed the room was cold on arrival and no instruction for the heater. A kettle for a cup of tea is surely essential... no kettle would deter me from staying again. Maybe it would be worth the small cost to provide one... the bathroom was new and modern but grimey in corners... a more thorough clean needed. Would Have liked the option to open the window felt slightly claustrophobic ... all in all, room would do if no alternative was available. Maximum stay would have to be one night. It wouldn’t be my first choice. On a positive note: staff were friendly.

Clean but cold rooms

Checked in at 9pm and was out by 4am for an early flight and was pleased by the clean room and bathroom. The bed was comfy as well. Only issue was the room was still too cold no matter how much you cranked up the heater.

It was far from clear from the website how to get to the hotel. Walking to the hotel late at night without clear instructions was not a pleasant experience. The receptionist was clearly out of his league. The card reader did not work...and even though I checked in online, I was kept waiting for 10 minutes. I was then taken to my room by the receptionist...not knowing very well if my key would work in the morning. My morning experience with the receptionist was not much better. First of all, he was far from friendly. When I asked where I could take the bus, it was really hard to get a proper answer. Although the accommodation and breakfast were fine...I left the hotel rather puzzled, wondering if IBIS is not able / prepared to properly staff their hotels... a shame.
