We had two rooms booked mine was great, other room smelt of weed. Reception staff vey friendly. For us it was just a bed for the nights as we were out all day. I would stay again, good value for money. I guess only downside no hotel parking you have to park in multi storey next door.

Only slight problem - you have a new type of liquid soap dispenser in use. The one in my room had the plunger not working properly, so I had to unscrew the top to get at the contents

Hard bed and dirty room

Bed mattress so hard it was like sleeping on solid wood. Dirty room to include used dental floss on top of radiator, bodily hair on the bathroom floor and dust in the mugs.

I stayed for 1 night on a business trip. Overall experience was ok but there were a number of things that could be improved. Checkin experience was good and all my interactions with staff were pleasant and helpful. My room was mostly clean but smelt very strongly of cigarettes and hadn’t been vacuumed thoroughly as there was visible dirt on the floor and bits of plastic casing that had fallen off something. Bathroom was clean but the gap between the shower and toilet was so narrow I had trouble using the toilet. Clearly designed by a male- the layout needs better planning. The bed wasn’t comfortable for me, it felt like the mattress was on top of a hard plank of wood. But at least it was very quiet all night and no noise from outside or other guests. Breakfast was better than expected and worth paying for. The other strange aspect was that the hotel seems to have a large number of guests who are using it as temporary accommodation or some sort of half way house. As for the positives, the hotel is in a good location by a shopping centre and large 24 hour tesco. There is a multi-storey car park next to it and the hotel offers a reduced rate for guests (£4.50 per exit so not good if you’re making multiple trips each day). The train station and bus station are a few minutes walk away. The leisure park is also within walking distance but you need to go further out for other restaurants. For the price, I think it was acceptable and if I wasn’t in a rush, I would have asked to change rooms but I had an evening function to attend and didn’t want to be late.

My experience in your hotel was dismal at best. The room was filthy as for the communal area's they were a disgrace and smelled of someone smoking weed. The Irish lady in the restaurant was lovely but on our last day their was another girl there and she was downright rude. The girl on reception during the day was lovely but the lady at night was just awful only interested in chatting to her friends. The rooms are only cleaned after 6 days seriously and in a pandemic absurd carry on.

Staying in a crack den

The hotel was disgusting! The hall carpets hadn’t been vacuumed in what I can only assume is weeks! The paint was peeling off the walls, there was mould in the bathroom and God only knows what was under the beds. I know you get what you pay for but I paid for a hotel room, not a crack den or student hostel.

Horrible stay

The room was freezing and the heater couldn't really maintain the heat for how cold the weather was, you need better heating system. The shower was horrendous, it trickled out and kept going hot and cold. When I book hotels I always look for parking and WiFi and you said you had both but actually I had to park in a multi story car park and pay for it so your actually saying something that isn't true. When I arrived your member of staff was very rude when I brought up the parking. The bedroom is very poorly maintained, there are chips out of the desk, the grouting around the shower needs going, the door in the bathroom didn't close, bad stains in the toilet bowl. Overall a bad experience.

Poor, tired, unwelcoming and dirty hotel

First appearance was not good - corridor carpets dirty and not cleaned. Room needed maintenance- cracked walls and open plaster. Not well cleaned. Poor bathroom- toilet broken - water kept running . Shower gel dispenser broken and shower fitting old and dirty.

I arrived very late, the staff on reception were very pleasant, I was slightly disappointed that there were people smoking in their rooms as the smell of smoke was very obvious.

Friendly reception , but did not know about Accor rewards. Parking misleading - not at hotel but at nearby public car park. Bed & room clean , but shower gel empty, light bulb out in the bathroom, none of the sockets worked in the morning & there was a dirty sock hanging from the smoke alarm !
