Fantastic location and great staff. Literally opposite of the street is Copa Cabana Beach. Loved the breakfast and service. Everyone tried to help us and make our stay comfortable. Especially Eduarda was very lovely and helpful. Now I know where to stay if I come back to Rio again.

Delightful staff, all young people. On our arrival they told us about the free access to beach chairs and umbrella on the beach which is just across the road. We had an evening meal there and it was very nice. Our room was a reasonable size and maybe the shabbiest we stayed in of ten hotels in South America but that doesn't mean bad. There were a couple of grubby areas - a rusty patch in the toilet basin and the air conditioner unit hadn't had a wipe down in a while. There was a kettle but only one green tea bag and one cappuccino sachet and no replacements left after room cleaning. The room was nicely serviced every day apart from that. Breakfast was excellent; I think it was my favourite in South America.
