Main restaurant manager is called Mansour all the time looking at our food then said to me rixos instructions not allow for guests to take fruits outside the restaurant! I asked him to show me these instructions and meet his manager but he said I can't say something from me without the hotel instructions while I'm seeing many guests take fruits outside normally! , however i didn't see theses instructions and didn't meet his manager, then said I'm happy to see you eating too much ! it's not my first time in rixos hotels I'm a repeat guest but it's the first time for me to hear that , finally he allowed me to take outside.my mom 70 years old refused to continue taking her dinner and I had gas upset after dinner. golf cars arriving late . sea beach and spa are fantastic many thanks to spa team especially atef ,oxana and the Thai therapist of Swedish massage.

I stayed at this hotel during July 2024. On reflection I was disappointed. There were a few things that stood out: Positives 1.Staff: Wonderful, friendly and helpful. 2. Pools: Within the hotel very clean, plenty of sun loungers, umbrellas etc. although the aqua park not so much. Very busy and the children’s play area a distinct smell of poo. 3: Golf Carts: Fantastic way of moving around the complex. 4. A La carte dining: Tasty food from a variety of restaurants on site. Although booking can be problematic as spaces are limited. But see the forced review section later. NEGATIVES 1. Turquoise restaurant: The main buffet restaurant. No matter what time of day you attended it was like a feeding frenzy. Rarely were we able to find a free table. There was no order or offer of help in finding a table and no allocated arrangement for getting a table. The space was often cluttered, dirty and disorganised (chairs appeared to have minds of their own and leave tables without chairs). FOOD bland, no fresh juices and limited fresh fruit. Strangely the hotel did not have fruit juices out for us to help ourselves. 2.FORCED Reviews: At the A La carte restaurants, the staff would ask us to write a review, then hover over us and if we were thinking of anything but five stars, ask us to change it. It felt really uncomfortable. 3 Room: Not great (Family room). The man who cleaned and maintained our room was amazing. However, the decors was tired and damaged. The seal in the shower meant that when it was used, water leaked either into the main bathroom area or the toilet, either way, wet feet. Air conditioning appalling, noisy and inaccurate. Bed and mattress very hard with a poorly fitting duvet. 4. Noise: We were said to be in a quiet family area. In terms of distance from the entertainment I could see we were pretty far away from the main entertainment stage. But it was still really loud and went on until very late making it hard for my children to settle. 5. Beach: Nope. This was a beach of sorts but leave your bucket and spade at home. It is not sandy and covered in wild life. Some alive and some on their way out. Either way, not for the children. 6. REVIEWS: Why all the life guards? I was looking back through some of the reviews when I came back to England and wondered why all the pictures of life guards. We had little or nothing to do with them. Given the sheer number of pictures on the reviews, it made me think that some of these reviews could be an inside job?

AVOID !! Unless you like toilets.

hmulligan Families - TripAdvisor review

AVOID, so many people fell ill in the resort (vomiting and diarrhoea). My 5 year old ended up on a drip and most of our holiday was spent in the room. After looking back at the most recent reviews, I am wondering whether they are actually written by guests. Many of them have similarities and a lot of photos of the lifeguards. Hmmm, coincidence? Especially as the lifeguards only sound was a whistle every 2 minutes, they hardly ever spoke! I think the honest reviews are any but the five stars. I wonder how many 5 star reviews it takes to counterbalance a 4,3,2 or 1 star. An honest review from a British family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 children (8, 5 and 2). Not a 5 star hotel by any means. Pros - Staff were lovely everywhere. - The gardens are well maintained - Rooms cleaned really well. - Water available everywhere, although they are in cartons which I felt, made it taste weird. - Food in turquoise buffet restaurant is ok. Just basic. I am not a fan of buffets. So I tried to book the a la carte restaurants. - The variety of pools in the main section was good and my children enjoyed it. - The golf cart busses are brilliant. They come often and they are a lifesaver in the heat. - Lovely atmosphere in the lobby. Cons - Stomach cramps and diarrhoea for three of us, which started on day 3 and lasted the remaining 4 days. I think this was after visiting the young children’s play area in the aqua park. It smelt of poo. - We went to the clinic after the bug wasn’t clearing. Guest relations said it would cost £50 but actually the final cost was £116. Guest relations offered to make things right, but their way of making things right was to offer soup and rice to the room. I would have preferred them to pay for the damage their hotel caused by paying the clinic fee. - My 5 year old ended up on a drip!!!!! - No menu’s in a la carte restaurants, you have to see the menu on your phone. - No drinks menus on the tables anywhere. There are menus at the bars which you can ask for. - No juices readily available at breakfast, lunch and dinner. You have to wait for the drinks waiter to come by with his drinks trolley. - Frenzy and the turquoise buffet restaurant. There is no one to seat you to a table, instead you have to keep walking around until you spot a free table or someone leaving. - No clear signs to say what the evening entertainment is for that night. It would be good to have this clearly advertised for each night. - The entertainment was very loud, so you can’t have a conversation whilst you are sat there. It was also very loud in our room (block 10). One night, they had a DJ. Just a DJ on stage, and everyone was sat watching this man mix his songs together. A few dancers would be a good shout. Something to watch at least. - To book the a la carte you have to scan a QR code, this never worked throughout our stay. So we called guest relations to book in to them. The Asian restaurant and The Mangal were lovely. People’s was mediocre. - Booking is difficult and they can’t cater for all hotel guests at the peak period. So you’re likely to be stuck with the buffet restaurant most days. So much for A la carte included in all inclusive. - Not much variety of fruit, there were no berries at all. Melon was there some days, but mostly bananas, apples and grapes everyday. - Not much variety in the shop in the lobby (no immodium or painkillers) and everything was over priced. It was impossible to leave the resort to find a pharmacy in this heat and with 3 children. - Not a sandy beach. So don’t bother bringing sandcastle buckets. - leaking shower, when used, water goes under the door out on the bathroom floor.

OMG this place is heaven, so many things to praise. The hotel is immaculate every detail is thought through to make your stay the best it can be. I need to sing the praises of Lera guest relations she has been so helpful making sure we have had the best time. She is an asset to your hotel. 😘 As is Hashatt what an attentive barman he always made sure we were happy. The security team at the front gate helped me to retrieve my phone from a taxi that had dropped me off and driven away. They pulled out all the stops and helped me to retrieve it. The food is top notch we have luckily visited all of the a la cartes they treat you so well the food is so nice and they really do bring you so much food we feasted like kings. The snorkelling off the end of the Seagate jetty is unreal we saw so many fish it was a privilege to have experienced this. We also visited adult only shout out to lovely attentive Anton you made sure we danced the night away. We had so much fun over there. We spent the day at radamis lt was jaw dropping to see the scale of the place especially when completed is going to be impressive. All rixos hotels have so many wow moments. I feel like I have been on 3 holidays back to back I'm so relaxed. We will be back!!!!
