This was our 3rd holiday to the Rixos Sharm in the last 2 years. It really is that good ! I wrote a detailed review in January 2023 so I won’t repeat the positive comments I made then. I emailed the hotel a few weeks before our stay requesting a quiet room away from any loud music and evening entertainment. When we arrived, we were allocated a beautiful top floor deluxe room in block 4 overlooking the quiet pool. Perfect ! We ate at the Turkish, Italian, Indian, Chinese, BBQ and Brazilian a la carte restaurants. They were all good. The service from the hotel staff remains excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. We never had to go to the pool bar once for a drink in 2 weeks. A barman on roller skates is constantly skating around the pool taking orders and serving drinks. In 2 weeks, we never got a single insect bite. This is very unusual for Egypt. The hotel clearly has this well under control. Unfortunately, it was too windy to snorkel for the entire 2 weeks. Every morning was windy which created large waves crashing over the reef. The red flag was always up until around 2pm. In the afternoon the wind dropped, and the sea was calmer but by then the sun was behind the reef and the visibility was poor. This isn’t a great location for keen snorkelers. Clearly this isn’t the hotel’s fault but something to be aware of. The only area in which we feel the hotel could make a quick and simple improvement was the sunset DJ set between 17:00 – 18:30. The DJ either played music no one seemed to know or songs that were so heavily remixed they were ruined. Very few people got up and danced. Disappointingly, the same type of music was played every evening. The hotel should have a few evenings where the DJ plays Ibiza classic dance tracks. I think this would get a lot more people dancing ! In summary, we had another great holiday at the Rixos and are already looking forward to returning in January 2025.

Come here for our first ever time abroad for our honeymoon and all I can say is it's been one to remember. Everything has been amazing from the room to all the staff. The staff are very welcoming and energetic. The Food is also amazing especially the mangal restaurant.

I and my wife stayed here for a week and we can definatelly say that this was one of the best leisure activities we've ever had. Exceptional hotel, attentionous personnel. There are several theme restaurants in the territory. You can visit any of them. Also, great and clean beach, wonderfully pools (yeas, there are some).
