Excellent visit Room wasn't the biggest but it was hardly tiny. What do you do in a hotel in London? We just needed somewhere clean to sleep well, relax and shower and have breakfast. This hotel provides all this with friendly, helpful staff. Tube station is almost across the road, bus stop literally outside front door. Continental breakfast was delicious on all 3 mornings, staff friendly and welcoming, kept tables clean at all times, constantly replacing food/drinks/cutlery etc. Bar area pleasant. Hotel has quirky feel. Had slight confusion over breakfast price which manager soon sorted in very professional manner. Slept well, no noise from other guests, very little noise from outside considering we were in busy street in Kensington. Maybe worth looking into a hand rail for steep steps at front of hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will return

Stayed here a couple of times before. Very convenient location. Great staff. Lots to do in the area and easy to get into central London due to the tube station opposite. Easy walk to Royal Albert Hall for the Proms. Downside this visit was that a lift was not working whilst we were there. Yes the rooms are small/tiny and yes it's expensive.

Well located for Albert Hall but check in experience was very confusing. Firstly said our room wasn’t ready but we have a “small room” available, as that sounded like a downgrade I said it’s fine we will wait. 10mins later to be taken to the “small room” and explained that it was a double room as booked. Very confusing. Room was very small but fine for a night.

Hotel was nicely located near Gloucester Road underground station so just a minute walk around the corner to get there. Check in was easy. Room was okay but very small room. Biggest downfall was the bed. It felt hard like sleeping on a wooden box with a think mattress topper on it. We woke up quite stiff in the morning and after travelling then attending a music event we could have really done with a good nights sleep before travelling back tomorrow. We didn’t pay for breakfast and just grabbed something at the train station
