Singf Couples - Confirmed reviews ALL

Basin in bathroom have a yellowish stain which gave impression that it’s not clean. Also water in shower does not drain quickly enough. Towels have seem better days & badly need to be replaced.

Lovely Hotel with one Major Flaw

I stayed 5 nights at this hotel and was therefore able to get a good feel of the establishment, both the positives and the negatives. Positives: The room is a good size, clean and well decorated. The room includes a fridge, safe and coffee station. The location of the hotel is excellent. Right next to Phrom Phong Station. The shower always had hot water. The bathroom is nice and clean. The bed is extremely comfortable. Negative: The walls are paper thin which brings noise in from neighboring rooms. AC vents covered in grime. No gym. No pool (they charge 500 TBH to use the Mercure pool which is a joke). The fridge is full of pre-stocked beverages and snacks leaving little room for your own products. Water doesn't drain well in the shower. The pillows are not comfortable or fluffy. No luggage rack. No chair. Slow elevators. The hotel requires a 2,500 THB deposit. I stayed at at least ten hotels in Thailand on this current trip, and not one other hotel required a deposit, let alone one for 2,500 THB. Overall, this hotel is nice with one glaring flaw: the paper thin walls which provide no soundproofing from adjacent rooms. You can hear people in the room next to yours having conversations, opening and closing doors and plugging in things in the wall sockets. If you get stuck with someone in a room next to yours who doesn't sleep until late, then you're not going to be sleeping until late as well, it's that bad. If you lean against the wall you will hear the wall creak, that's how bad the insulation and soundproofing is.

It's great to know that you appreciated the spacious, clean, and well-decorated room, as well as the inclusion of amenities like the fridge, safe, and coffee station. We also take pride in our prime location near Phrom Phong BTS Station, which we believe adds significant convenience for our guests. It's fantastic to hear that you experienced consistently hot water in the shower, and that you found the bathroom and bed to be comfortable and well-maintained. Indeed, our brand is renowned worldwide for its strategic locations and excellent value for money. On another note, allow me to bring clarifications to some of your comments for the benefit of the Trip Advisor community reading this response. Firstly, we understand that the absence of a gym and pool may be disappointing for some guests. However, Ibis Sukhumvit 24 being a budget brand does not have a pool facility nor is advertise online. That being said, you can purchase a daily access to the Mercure pool and gym at THB 500 which you can eventually redeem on food and beverage consumption in our Vue Bar Rooftop. Ultimately, this allows our guest to decide whether or not they wish to use this facility. Secondly, we require a deposit as this is a standard practice to cover any incidental charges during your stay and is fully refundable at checkout time. Thirdly, I’m sorry to hear about the noise insulation and understand the impact it can have on your overall experience. We could have easily relocated you upon a simple request to our 24hrs operated front desk to a quieter side of the building. Please accept our apologies for all the inconvenience cause. Once again, thank you for your detailed feedback. Your insights are invaluable to us, and we are committed to using them to improve the overall experience for our guests.
