We were pretty disappointed to get to our room & have the drawer fall down onto the glasses below, the runners were broken. Also I think a better explanation of the Aircon situation - we didn't realise that the bathroom extraction would be impacted + there was ants in the bathroom. The room was nice but certainly didn't scream $500 p/night nice...

My main complaint was that we were not informed that the AC had been out for two months. We found out when we opened the door to our room and it was 85F inside. However, after speaking with the staff, they promptly got us a portable unit to keep the room comfortable. The staff was friendly, the location was great, and the amenities were nice. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Auckland.
