Great location - right on the Viaduct harbor. Room was upmarket and a good size - the balcony on the third floor was a nice plus overlooking the Sky Tower. Room was well provisioned with a kettle, espresso maker, and plenty of tea & coffee packets.
Bathroom was large with a nice shower and tub. Overall no complaints and we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for our 25th Anniversary and the hotel made us feel so special, from the room upgrade to late check out. We also had fabulous lunch at the restaurant and the staff were so attentive. The food was superb! Will definitely come back again.

We stay semi regularly at the Sofitel. It is well located for our purposes and usually of a high standard. This trip not so good. There was no concierge assistance when we left. Our Uber driver picked up our baggage from within the hotel. We ate at the Restaurant with friends. meals were excellent but agian service slightly lacking although staff very frindly they just lacked a bit of awareness, like wine finished do you want to see the wine list, or do you want deserts. It was a bit embarrassing in front of our guests with a dispute on the food and beverage charges regarding our All Card. Apparently part of it had expired. In 15 years of Accor membership I have always used my Accor All Card. I was unaware that there was another card underlying it - A Gold Explorer Card apparently and they have two differnt reneawal dates. It is very confusing. Also one on the benefits of and Accor All Card is that you get a preferential room rate. Our rate was no different to Booking.com.
