Getting in late at night was a challenge

We arrived on the last flight of the day, so hiot the hotel close to midnight. There's a sign at the front door that says use tyour key fopr after hours access, however it doesn't make it clear how to call for assistance if you don't have a key. There are three separate devices at the door which couyld all be potential doorbells. After pressing everyuthing we could the door eventually opened. Perhaps a better signed button would be more helpful

We understand the inconvenience caused by the signage at the entrance during late hours, and we acknowledge the need for clearer directions to assist our guests in gaining access to the hotel. Moreover, the absence of immediate assistance at the front desk upon your arrival is not the high standard of service we aim to provide. We are looking into this matter to ensure that our front desk is promptly notified when guests arrive, regardless of the hour, to offer a warm welcome and efficient check-in experience. Finally, while we are committed to sustainability and reducing our environmental impact, we never want this to be at the cost of our guest's comfort. We regret that the absence of hand lotion in the room was not communicated clearly, and we will review how we can better inform our guests about available amenities upon request. Located directly across from the South Wharf DFO Shopping Centre and with direct access to the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, our hotel is in an enviable position to cater to both leisure and business needs. The room is pretty good, just the cleaning in the bathroom can be improved a little bit more (eg. sink) Overall, the stay was great! If there's an airport shuttle bus service will be wonderful. Thank you for the team for your effort.

Within walking distance to everything. The Novotel South Wharf is extremely clean and full of friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We will be back for sure!
