The location couldn't have been better for my purpose as a family member was admitted to the Max Hospital across from the hotel. The room was large. The bathroom was spacious. The breakfast buffet was quite good. On the first night we had dinner at the hitel. The dinner was terrible. Didn't repeat the mistake of eating major meals from the hotel restaurant. Next day, for lunch, we ordered food via Zomato. We requested the hotel reception for a pair of plates, bowls, spoons and forks. They could have denied the request but they didn't. However, they took more than 45 minutes to deliver these. We actually gave up, started eating straight from the Zomato packets when they finally delivered. The bed was a bit uncomfortable. The reception staff member at the time of check-in was highly inefficient but the member at the time of check-out was super efficient. I must appreciate the extraordinary alacrity he showed in preparing my bill, settling the bill, getting my car at the portico and loading my bags in the car. Overall, it was a mixed bag, slightly on the positive side. Note to hotel administration - On the first night my wife and I had buffet at the hotel. No one was there to take down our room number etc information. We could have easily walked out without paying. I called and asked the staff to take down the details. I had to wait for 5+ minutes before someone came and took down my information. This is not good for business.

A normal hotel is better than this so called 5star hotel. Room is not comfortable and corridors are narrow. Buffet Dinner - nothing is tasty. During the peak checkout time at 9am, only one staff available at reception. I have asked them to send the invoice to my mail, haven't done until i gave a follow up call. Even worst is my colleague got bill of another guest.

Disappointing Stay – Severe Decline in Accor Standards Our recent 2-night family stay at Novotel Lucknow was completely unacceptable. Having visited this property for the past four years, the drop in quality is shocking—it currently operates below a 2-star hotel standard. Service & Staffing: Severely understaffed across all departments (front desk, security, and restaurant). Staff were consistently rude, and zero Accor Gold status amenities or welcome benefits were provided. Dining Experience: Terribly managed. Undercooked food was served at breakfast, and the restaurant ambience was ruined by noisy Club Mahindra sales pitches taking place right in the dining area. Cleanliness & Maintenance: Hallways had an off-putting odor, and the room was dirty, complete with stained towels showing black spots. Management needs to urgently address these operational failures to restore basic Accor brand standards. Would not recommend.
