Hhmmhrr Couples - TripAdvisor review

Very easy access to the big entrances of Masjidil Haram with ramp for wheelchair. Comfortable, spacious room. On the uppermost floors, clear full view of Kaabah MasyaAllah. Staff are the best we have met in Haramain. All so smiling (which is not always easy to find) very polite and very helpful.

Swissotel Makkah is an amazing hotel with brilliant hospitality. They work to perfection and the hotel location is also Brilliant, Will definitely visit again and stay in Swissotel Makkah Insha'Allah. The staff really go above and beyond and even though it is a very busy hotel, the staff smile and always ready to help. Good size rooms and excellent breakfast.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family during our trip for Umrah. While the hotel itself was pleasant, clean, and well-maintained, the experience leading up to our stay was very frustrating. I had booked a room for my family of six in advance and even called the day before our arrival to confirm the reservation. I asked if I needed to make a payment, as other family members had received emails requesting one. The staff assured me that my booking was secure and that I could pay upon arrival. However, when we arrived, we were informed that our reservation had been canceled without any prior notice. Despite confirming everything over the phone, I was left scrambling to secure another room. Unfortunately, the only option available was a smaller room that cost more, and I had to pay the extra charges on the spot. Given that we had just traveled for Umrah, I didn’t want to argue, so I reluctantly accepted the room. Aside from this frustrating reservation issue, I can’t fault the hotel itself. The facilities were nice, and the staff were friendly during our stay. However, the lack of communication and the hassle of having to rebook at a higher rate left a bad impression. If you plan to stay here, I recommend double-checking your reservation multiple times to avoid any surprises.
