Well located but…

The negatives for our stay: ONE: the rooms are too small and has no closets for the clothing., TWO: the reception is on the second floor and has NO ONE to help with the luggage in or out. The street the hotel is at is rather busy what makes difficult to unload or load the luggage in a car. The breakfast is very good and the workers are, at large, sympathetic and friendly, however no one is there to help to carry your luggage from the street to the second floor and from there to your room, using a very small elevator. The same problem upon check out.

Central location but still quiet and great service

The hotel is centrally located and just a few steps from the nearest metro. On arrival the helpful staff gave me a map and pointed out the most interesting landmarks to visit which I appreciated. My room was huge with an additional “living room” as well as the bedroom and bathroom. Being on the top floor there was only a small roof window meaning that there wasn’t much natural light or view. There are two small lifts which seemed to effectively serve all floors most of the time. The hotel is in a beautiful old building and is close to Bolhaō market which is great for fresh food.

Nice modern Ibis near town centre
