Cleanliness of the room needs to be improved. Bed sheet and towels have stains all over. Broken facilities should be replaced, my room has a broken fridge and shower head bracket. However, the room is spacious and staffs are friendly.

I stayed at Ibis Styles Medan Pattimura and was impressed from the very beginning. Before check-in, I received a warm welcome that immediately made me feel valued. Upon arrival, the reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful — one of them even took the time to recommend a great nearby live music café, which made my evening truly enjoyable. To my pleasant surprise, my room was upgraded one level up from the type I had originally booked — such a thoughtful gesture! The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient, showing how well the front desk team is trained. What stood out most was the management’s personal touch — they even helped carry my suitcase all the way to the car during checkout. Small details like this make a big difference. Overall, it was a delightful experience that perfectly blends comfort, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Medan!

I was requesting the city view room but got no city sight. One of the buffet stall (lontong medan) has cold broth with no flavor at all, this is my 3rd visit and got a so so impression.
