Great hotel, perfect location to explore Sydney and shopping. Friendly staff and good cocktail hour in the bar. The rooms were a good size and well maintained. Only negative was the mattresses were on the hard side a little too much. We slept ok but was a comment throughout our group

So disappointed, this WAS always our go-to hotel in Sydney. I still can not believe I had to pay $5 for room service, that is a first for me. Someone is trying to save money at the expense of the guests. All bottles were stuck to the wall even the tissues I couldn't move to my bedside. The cheese plate was not thawed out. The nuts were wet and inedible. The light above the bath was leaking water, The supposedly heated pool was cold and uninviting. The girl at the spa didn't want to give me a locker key for my clothes to swim, I'm sure she thought I might steal the towel as she mentioned it a few times. We used to love this hotel, what ever happened. We did get a refund on our cheese plate when I complained but the manager didn't seem that bothered by it.

Breakfast and room needed to be much better. Breakfast options were very sad especially in the lounge. No healthy drinks were on offer. Choices were too bland and repeated everyday. Not what I was expecting especially given my diamonds status

Disappointed in check-in and check-out experience. Staff were made process difficult and paper work was inaccurate. Booked two rooms with separate bookings and names, emails and phone numbers were randomly applied to each booking. Tried to get it fixed but eventually gave up. Took 20 minutes to check out and pay! Very outdated system. Haven’t had to do that for 10+ years. Restaurant told us they were full booked. Noticed it was close to empty and plenty of tables all night. I reckon they were short staffed. Club was not staffed and ran out of glasses and cutlery often. Food was great. Not a big selection of Non alcoholic and wines. Room was very nice.
