In general this is was a lovely place and a nice retreat, but I wouldn't go again.
The room was nice, but the comforter was way too hot and there wasn't a sheet to use. We put the AC down to 66 and still woke up sweaty. Finally pulled the comforter out of the cover and just use the cover. We ended up going out to eat instead of eating on the premises as much as we expected.

Fairmont's Wedding Planners, Victoria and Bella, did a fabulous job. There were certainly lapses in communications, with one specific, scheduled Event somehow totally missed and neglected. The 10/11/2026 Front Desk Manager was rude, disrespectful, unkind and attempted to threaten and bully us in order to cover her own mistakes. "The Manager" refused to meet with me in person at any time during the course of this horrible experience, wherein she threatened that we would "find our belongings on the street", to quickly correct that remark to "the driveway" (Our Items which included 5 days of Wedding Attire for myself and five other members of our Wedding Party, lap-top computers and personal effects for approximately 9 young Doctors and Lawyers) - All due to "The Manager's" own booking error. (I had personally presented at the Front Desk earlier in the day to re-confirm final day Reservations - all of which were researched and confirmed by the Desk Clerk.)

Wish we’d had more time at the lovely hotel. We were on our last night of a 10 day drive down from San Francisco. We stayed in 4 five star hotels. All great, all very different. Biggest knock against the Fairmont is limited bar menu. Casual dining after 6pm is not very good.

I love this hotel, our stay was lovely but this stay wasn't as good as it normally is. There just just a few little things that were not as great. A welcome amenity or note wasn't provided upon arrival. At night there was never any sleep spray available. The family pool hot tub wasn't working properly. The store at the hotel didn't have as many nice clothes or items to pick. There was any fresh squeezed orange juice available from room service. We still had a lovely stay, it just seemed like things weren't as well managed as they previously were during past stays.

Was disappointed that reception staff missed confirmed request for handicapped accessible room. Person sharing room arrived before I did and did not realize room was not ordered one. Too much going on to move 1st night. And too much 2nd day. So did not pursue change.

Fairmont asked me when I was arrivIng in advance of my stay. I notified that I anticipated a noon arrival. Upon arrival, I had to wait 5.5 hours to receive a room. The reception began at 5pm, so we were late. And plenty of other guests at the hotel were prioritized over us, yet we had arrived before them.
We asked for synthetic pillows because my husband is allergic to down feathers. None weee brought to the room. We asked for extra hangers two times , but none were delivered. The phone in the room did not work. We ordered room service and it never came. We asked for help with the luggage but none one came.
On Deiday morning , we went to the restaurant and were told by the servers that the kitchen was backed up on orders. We had to wait an hour to recieve our breakfast and coffee.
The front desk agent was cold, unfriendly and dismissive. He made us feel uncomfortable. For instance, upon check out, the front desk agent was chatting with a friend for a long time. I stood there waiting patiently. Then after a while, he finally turned to me, and with an annoyed face, asked me what I wanted. I said I needed to check out. He glanced at me snarkily, took the key from my hand and said, “will that be all?” And that was it. He never asked how our stay was.
We paid a premium price to stay at this hotel. It’s a real shame the service is not in par with the facility. I will not return.

Arrived at 230p; Room not ready to check in; No issue; Were looking for food - main restaurant closes at 2p, reopens at 5p; only food available without a room, was at the golf course, which is a steep walk away. Finally got room at 330p; We had a signature pool side king; This room was tucked away at the end of a walk way, without pool view. Called the manager on duty and she moved us mid-pool, the room we actually ordered. Hotel is 'old classic style'; needs updating. No self park.

Beautiful resort! The room was beautiful although door needed repair and we had no cell phone service in our room. Also be prepared for walking a long ways. We had a very long walk to the wedding venue and lobby.

I was staying for a conference with my wife accompanying me. I found the service and staff to be very helpful and attentive. I was slightly disappointed in some of the room details. Only a steam iron in the room. When I asked for a board and iron it was brought up promptly. Room cleaning was somewhat late in the day despite my light being on but when I called they came quickly. She missed a couple of important items to us like refilling the water decanter and coffee pods but those were brought promptly when asked as well.

When leaving the bellman took a while to pick up our bags. when we called again, they said the bellman had come to our room but the do not disturb sign was on. which was not true as we had the door open and were waiting for the bellman. secondly, after leaving we got charged an additional $101 for mini-bar (a bottle of wine, they said) - which we never took. we only had coffee from that area and did not consume anything from the mini bar. so i wasted half an hour calling to deal with that and will have to wait and keep checking for the credit to show up in 5-7 business days.

There were ants in my room and the got all over in my laptop backpack and accompanied me even in the flight :). This is not expected from a 5 star property .

The room is spacious and hotel property is nice and clean. However, the rooms appear to need upkeep - the toilet was not working when I arrived so had to call maintenance to fix. There was pairs of men's swim trunks and underwear on my balcony when I checked into the room which is very unpleasant, weird, and made me feel unsafe. It may be an accident, but the rooms should be checked before guests arrive to avoid these type of situations. It took longer than expected for any house keeping requests to be met.
