Fairmont Grand Del Mar was a location chosen for a group of us to attend a mastermind group. Putting 25 ambitious, powerful women in a room is pretty amazing in itself, but when you couple that with a beautiful hotel, with exceptional service, it becomes quite extraordinary. Our meeting room was lovely, the food was delicious and to go back to our gorgeous rooms was just icing on the cake. Thank you for knowing our names, accommodating our requests and making us feel not only welcomed, but valued.

This is a beautiful hotel with top level service. Great location - loved everything about this place. The Grand Del Mar golf course was beautiful also. Can’t go wrong here. Neil and Nixon will definitely take care of you with their excellent customer service.

Everyone on your staff was helpful, well-spoken, and kind. My room was on the 1st floor and fairly complicated to find, and those who I asked directions of were great and really knew the property. The room was cleaned beautifully each day. One little weird thing - one night there was a holder for a bedtime spray, but there was no spray inside. The next night there was nothing at turn down, and the following there was gel. Just a little inconsistent.

This is the hands down best resort in San Diego. Exquisite architecture and what feels like a European escape. Long term staff that know you year after year and make you feel at home. It’s a real gem and secret. Tennis, golf, pickle ball, spa, dining, ice skating, afternoon tea, horses, nature trails.
