i want to write honestly for everyone who want to go to this hotel , positive things : very good breakfast i mean very complete , excellent location ( 4 min walking to osmanbey metro ) and all you need you can find in the hotel street such as markets, pharmacy, restaurant, exchange and etc. the lobby was good ... negatives things are : very rude behavior of a man in reception, he thinks he is the boss and didnt answer to passengers . the rests of receptionist didn't answer like a human :) the room is normal size, not big not small but a little old..not bad.. just it would be better..toilet not very clean it should change. they didnt have Iron to give us :)) it is not ok for 5 stars hotel at all . but totally i will choose this hotel compare to other worse hotels in Istanbul.. if you wanna go to hang out in Istanbul it is the best hotel you can choose ... i hope this review can help you guys .

I am staying in this hotel now I never recommend it because there is no indication of its stars. For example: the air conditioning system is central and the room temperature is 17 degrees and there is no way to make it warmer. He doesn't even have a toothbrush or toothpaste. The bar inside the room is completely empty. The temperature of the pool is 20 degrees, which means it is completely unusable. Wet sauna does not work either. On the first floor, the sound of the street can be heard completely and you cannot rest in peace. Maybe the breakfast gets the points of a 4-star hotel, but the rest is very weak

I had booked a room with two beds as I was traveling with my sister. Despite multiple requests, I was repeatedly checked into rooms with only one bed. It took three attempts and a lot of frustration before we were finally given a room with the correct bed setup. On top of that, the elevator wasn’t working, so I had to keep going up and down to fix this issue. To make matters worse, I requested two room keys since there were two of us, but I was told it wasn't possible. The key we did receive frequently malfunctioned, and I had to visit the reception four times before it worked. I chose this hotel for the spa facilities shown on their website, but when I tried to use the steam room, it was broken. I was told that the Turkish bath required an appointment and cost $50 for 30 minutes, which wasn't mentioned anywhere online. The staff member was rude when I inquired about this. Another problem was the electricity in the room – since the power was controlled by the key card, if one of us left with the key, the other was left in darkness with no power to charge devices. Additionally, when we requested more water bottles, we were told it would cost 350 Turkish lira (about $11), which seemed excessive. No one helped with our luggage when checking out, adding to the disappointment. For the high price, this hotel doesn't match expectations. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Experience of a 4-day stay at Mercure Istanbul Bomonti Hotel

Mamrezz M TripAdvisor review

**Experience of a 4-day stay at Mercure Istanbul Bomonti Hotel in the Bomonti neighborhood of Istanbul** **Cons:** - Most staff members are not friendly and often do not greet or speak politely. - The hotel does not provide adequate slippers for multiple days of stay, including suitable slippers for showering and moving around the room. - There is a lot of noise from the staff in the hallways during the day, which disturbs the guests. They do not make an effort to keep their voices down. - For someone with a height of 175 cm, the height of the toilet is too high, which is above the standard and can cause discomfort. - The pool is more for display; during our stay, it was said to be out of order. The person in charge of the pool and massages, a bearded middle-aged man, is very rude and impolite, answering questions in a hostile manner. - There are many small children among the guests, which can be problematic if you are disturbed by noise, especially during breakfast. - The rooms have air conditioning but no air purifiers. The air conditioning is outdated and does not shut off automatically. It can get very cold, and there is no remote control; you have to turn it on and off manually from the wall. - When we first entered the room, there was a strong sewage smell, which was alleviated by opening the windows over time. It seems the sewage system has issues, as it smells after a few hours of non-use, but the smell disappears with use. **Pros:** - The hotel is in a great location, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and anything you might need. - The hotel is clean, and hygiene is well-maintained throughout the hotel and rooms. Cleaning staff do a great job daily, and the lobby and elevators are clean. - The rooms are larger than the standard size in other hotels, which is a plus. - Breakfast is organized, suitable, and clean, and it is served daily. - The hotel's public relations manager, Ms. Atousa, is a gem. She addresses any issues with a friendly attitude, adding significant value to the hotel. - The hotel's free Wi-Fi is excellent and has a very good speed. - The hotel is quiet at night with minimal traffic. - The hotel's shower system and cleaning supplies are adequate. **Conclusion:** I definitely recommend this hotel. My rating is 3 out of 5. I believe the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages, and the cons are solvable. I hope this review helps you in your decision-making.
