As an Accor member I booked this hotel through the Accor App to gain points and the heavily advertised food and drink discounts. The procedure for obtaining discounts was not explained during check-in and when I questioned the account at check-out all I got was..."sorry." It seems every hotel has a different procedure for obtaining points and discounts. No This should be fully explained on arrival. Not happy!

We stayed at the Mercure on Level 2, Room 36, for two nights (18 & 19 September), and had a wonderful stay. The hotel is really well located, our room was super quiet and extremely clean, and despite there being a wedding event during our stay, we were not disturbed at all. The staff were amazing. A special shout-out to Eli, who was an absolute champ and patiently answered all of our questions. We also want to mention our room attendant (I’m sorry I missed her name) — she was exceptional and did such a wonderful job. Overall, a fantastic stay. Thank you to the whole team for making our visit so comfortable and enjoyable. We would definitely stay again!

Another nice stay. The renovations at the attached club do cause some inconvenience so hopefully over soon. The room was comfortable and clean. Staff were great. Whilst breakfast was room service only, it was a marking improvement on previous stays. Actually we really enjoyed the breakfast this time.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the shower head was perfect. We only stayed for one night, which was perfect for passing through. We'd definitely stay here again when we pass through Tamworth. Thankful for the Tesla Supercharger as well.
