We stayed one night. We thought the room was really clean with a great view. Staff made it feel like a small boutique hotel instead of a large corporate chain, which was nice.

It is my 3rd time using Novotel Santa Cruz , and with the years you can noticed the hotel does not have a good leading team , and proper facility maintenance. Personal at the recepcion at check in and check out doesnt warm and greet you when checking in and checking out. The options at the breakfast buffet much more limited than previous stays. The public area , pool ( was heated now it is not) , and the whirpool was not working. The atmosphere at the bar and lobby is not the same . It is needed to be updated and have a proper training of personel into the hotel to be as how it was in the past
