Great value for money in city center

A great value for money hotel. Clean and quiet room, a convenient location, walking distance from Bucharest city center. Staff was attentive from check-in to check-out making me feel like a welcomed guest. Breakfast was simple self service.

We have stayed at Mercure Unirii during a conference event I had to attend in Bucharest. It has a very good location, good accomodation facilities, excelent breakfast service, excelent cleaning, friendly and helpfull staff everywhere: Bar, Reception and especilly the responsible for the breakfast. În the morning of the checkout as I was schedule to go to a doctor check up with my 7 years old daughter we did not have time to take breakfast and the lady was very helpfull and kind saying I can take whatever I need packed to go. I really apreciate it!

Great Location, bus and metro nearby, , Kettle, cups, mini-fridge make all the difference compared to a standard hotel room.

Great location , close to most of the attractions we wanted to visit. Friendly and professional staff. Spacious and clean rooms . Downsides are no pool and breakfast selection could be improved. Overall happy with our stay .

Good location but not a 4 star experience

Stayed for 5 days in Bucharest for a meet up with family members who also booked a room. Location was great for sightseeing but unfortunately the hotel was not up to our expectations after staying in other Mercure hotels. The room was clean and furnished comfortably. However the bathroom was so small that you couldn't have the door open to get in the shower. Little things count like there was a minibar but we arrived no free bottle of water you had to pay €3 for the privilege. Never stayed in a 4 star that doesn't supply an initial bottle. You had a kettle and flavoured teabags but no black tea bags or milk. Reception said we do not supply these so we had to immediately find a shop after a 2.30am start! There were black teabags in the breakfast room the next morning so why not put 2 in the room? The worse thing however was that the weather was very warm hitting 24 on Saturday but the AC was not working. We asked at Reception and were told that it hasn't been changed over yet but a man would be looking at it soon. We spent 3 nights dripping in sweat unable to sleep properly with the choice of having the window open to make it slightly easier but so noisy on the main road that you couldn't sleep anyway. 🙃
