Sustainability is indeed an important commitment for both Novotel and Accor, and we strive to balance our environmental approach with our guests’ comfort. Should you require additional towels, glasses, tea bags or any other items during your stay, our Reception team is always available and happy to assist. Regarding our fitness room, although it is compact, it is equipped with the essential equipment provided by Technogym. The sauna is a seasonal facility and is therefore available during winter season. During the summer season, our outdoor pool is open and is generally a particularly appreciated facility for guests looking to relax and cool down. Great rooms. Not exactly the one pictured at booking, but we do believe it was great, and extra spacious, so no complaint here. The WiFi-connection was poor and the rooms are not soundproof as described. The shover needed a sweeper, curtain or drain, since there was no door, and almost the whole bathroomfloor was wet. So overall pleasant stay, but missing the last. Nice employees, but sometimes talk with eachother was prioritized over helping and missing information to the evacuating guests when the smoke alarm rang. It was great we could use the poolarea after checkout while y’all kept the luggage for us to enjoy the last of Parma for now.

'Centro' is not a correct name for this hotel as it isn't in central Parma. The area around the hotel (which is near the railway station) isn't the best, to say the least. The walk back to the hotel from the centre doesn't feel safe. We couldn't let out 21 year old daughter and 16 year old son walk back on their own in the evening and I had to put my wrist watch in my pocket until we got back in the hotel. The staff were quite friendly but the Aircon wasn't working properly in one of our rooms either.

I would like to clarify that our hotel is located just 100 metres from the entrance to the historic city centre, making it easily accessible on foot. We also have an external security service to ensure the safety of our guests within and in the immediate vicinity of the hotel; naturally, however, we cannot provide security along the entire route to the historic city centre. I am sincerely sorry about the issue you experienced with the air conditioning. Unfortunately, my stay at Novotel Parma Centro did not meet my expectations, largely due to the reception I received at the front desk. One of the receptionists(girl) was particularly unpleasant: avoiding eye contact, using an inappropriate tone, and acting condescending. Such a lack of consideration and professionalism is very disappointing for an establishment of your brand. The staff was nice and welcoming, and the hotel is very well located. The room was clean and comfortable overall. However, attention to detail could definitely be improved. On different days, I had to ask for shampoo and towels because the cleaners forgot to replace them in the room. I also noticed an unpleasant smell in the hallway, which seemed to come from the cleaning staff. Better personal hygiene and more attention to the small details would make the overall experience much better. Overall, a decent stay, but there is room for improvement in housekeeping.

Room smelled sewer, parking 18e per day, exterior space to small for the numbers of rooms

I have chosen this hotel for the first time because it’s located in Parma a city surrounded by many other interesting cities and places in Italy. Being an ALL Diamond member I was expecting a special treatment and attention worth my long lasting loyalty to Accord hotels and resorts. I have send earlier message to explain these expectations. Starting by no upgrade granted to any of my two booked rooms, I was also obliged with my family to change rooms three times due to the fact we were bitten by some insects in the hotel!! This is really unacceptable from an Accord hotel where OHS process should be well put in place. Rooms were not cleaned despite insisting personally and within the working time of housekeeping. We had issues to park our car in the hotel parking despite place can be freed. I was obliged to park in a public parking 10mins away from the hotel… Water was not provided for the whole stay. We had to pay for it! Many things have really disturbed our stay and we won’t surely comeback again.
