We received a warm, professional service at reception and got to check in early. The room was lovely and cool. It was very clean and comfortable. On checking out,we were able to leave our luggage whilst we went exploring. You can get a great view of the River Mersey from some rooms.

Comfortable room, but would have liked to have had a desk to work at. Nice shower. Kirsty, Jan, Emanuel and Pam looked after us well at breakfast. Well stocked buffet breakfast, pretty much anything you could want. Would be nice to have a choice of eggs rather than just scrambled.

Great location but the hotel was a bit 'meh' - wouldn't stay again but okay if you just want an overnight stop

The location was excellent - just a stone's throw from the Liver Building. However, the hotel was disappointing. Whilst the room was okay, it felt a bit jaded. In addition there were little niggles, like having to ask staff to refill the empty shower gel and the fact that our bin wasn't emptied during our two night stay. The parking was a plus and was easy to find but again we had to go back to reception as they had initially only booked us a place for one 24-hour period. We also had to get our room key renewed late afternoon on the second day, which was a pain as it meant returning from our room the 11th floor to reception 😕

The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of delicious options. The service was attentive and friendly, and the cleanliness of the place was outstanding. Our group of high school students enjoyed the meal and behaved impeccably throughout. Highly recommended for both quality and atmosphere.

One night stay and a great location to go on the Manchester Ship canal cruise. A lovely touch of a complimentary Prosecco on arrival. Lovely clean room, large comfortable bed with a view of the river Mersey. We were lucky that the Cunard Queen Mary 2 was in Liverpool for an overnight stay. Great choice of both cooked and continental food for breakfast. All staff were lovely and very helpful. Would definitely recommend and will not hesitate to stay again
