Dated accommodation, however the staff and stay was lovely. Extremely convenient location for a short break, with plenty of shopping and city attractions nearby.

I'm afraid we were not greeted kindly, and was treated abruptly and with a completely unbending attitude,, I I had a tough time this was to relax, but I ended up distressed and tearful , Michelle on reception came over and was a real tonic , she was helpful, understanding, and completely saved the stay, (as I felt like leaving), unfortunately that shadowed things a bit , but the actual hotel is lovely, foyer , breakfast , surroundings , rooms , they are excellent,, the pool / jacuzzi are good warm , and there is a airy gym , but changing rooms need updating, this was our 2nd visit in 5 weeks, there is no use of lockers unless you bring your own padlock, and it hadn't been repaired over those weeks,although we were told it was going to be fixed . The both times we visited the seems to be over the details on the Groupon deal we had purchased and the checking in/ out times, both times we met difficulties over this , and on the last visit the staff initially didn't treat us correctly, and left us feeling very unhappy, as I explained Michelle did help immensely. It has put me off returning, as I think your arrival is very important, and we can not guarantee what our reception would be like .

Ask for itemised bill did not get it receptionist read out what was there souded fine when got home the email receipt showed £22 on bill which I paid but don't know what it is for too late it was paid I should have followed up but didn't. When asking for itemised bill you should be able to provide this disappointed 😞

Rude staff throughout, got more hellos from other guests. Bathroom was awful and needs updating, restrictions on the pool weren’t ideal,
