Poor stay due to building work, scaffolding outside my bedroom window , workmen using power macinery outside my bedroom window. I have been trying for over 24 hours to receive an invoice for my stay. E-mails are not replied to , impossible to telephone , after some minutes of recorded messages the line cuts out - twice for me , once for Accor who also tried to telephone Mercure Kaarst. Scaffolding panorama Try to contact the hotel !!!!!!!!!!! Convenient if you like MacDonalds and KFC which I do not. No added value Didn't eat anything If you like to relax in a building site , this is your place

I was not impressed with my recent stay. The limited staff was a problem for dinners and the bar area. The sauna was not operational. The cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. The only bright point was the breakfast buffet and kind (limited) staff.

For THE PRICE of 3 NIGHTS = 1 Night x 337 € + 2 NIGHTS x 244 € : BED is small ; CLEANING Service = NO CLEANING at ALL - I have to ask for NEW TOWEL ? BAR = BEER in BOTTLE only ----without saying to the customer ! RESTAURANT = Low Quality ; BREAKFAST = THE ONLY THING that is GOOD ; CAR PARK = OUTSIDE = 12 € x 3 THIS HOTEL iS NOT AT LEVEL for A MERCURE HOTEL ---- EXEPT the SIZE of BED ; NO CLEANING Location is good for the "MESSE" NOT in the LEVEL of a MERCURE HOTEL ; Seems to be OLD ?? LOW QUALITY OLD HOTEL ?

A lot of insects, coakroches, and bed bugs were found in the room. We have booked a stay for 2 night but couldn’t stay for more than 1 hour. When we told the staff they refused to give us the money back and their only solution was to move to another room which only had 1 bed and 1 soffa bed while our room was booked for 3 beds. Very unprofessional and highly not recommended! Disgusting. A lot of insects and bed bugs in the room. Did not try the food

The staff were polite. My hotel room was clean and spacious. However, it smelled of humidity and strong cigarette smoke. It smelled of heavy cigarette smoke The hotel felt worn down, musty, and unkept
