Breakfast was ok. The sambal chillies are very good. Location isn’t fantastic. No shops nearby except a 24 hr store and KFC. We took grab everywhere as it’s very reasonable. If you are an Accor plus platinum and above, the high tea is not bad. And you can choose to have it in the lobby with your welcome drink.

Several things were out of order in the room: water ran out very slowly from the bathroom sink, the airconditioner could not be controlled and was set at very cold, the safe could not be locked, the steam iron leaked water on to the floor. Required multiple calls to the lobby. Finally we had to change the room as the airconditioner could not be fixed. In the restaurant the service was slow - there seemed to be too few people to work and they seemed too busy.

We recently completed our second one-month stay at Novotel Cikini Jakarta, and once again the Novotel staff made our stay, a truly wonderful experience. A special thank you to Chef Tegul, for his hospitality and delicious meals. We looked forward to Breakfast every morning. We also like to express our appreciation for Ryan, the restaurant floor supervisor, who did a fantastic job managing the team. The service from Yanti, Elsa, Rani, and Wayan was exemplary, always greeted with lots of very warming smiles, professionalism and attentive to our needs. Each one of them was sincere in giving a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that really enhanced our stay. A heartfelt thank you as well to Dea from housekeeping, nothing was a bother, she kept everything spotless and organised throughout the month. Her care and attention made my room feel like a true home away from home. I can not thank the team enough for giving us another memorable stay. We will definitely be back!
