I stayed at this hotel because I had to reschedule my business appointments, and I need a hotel near Gambir. I have stayed several times at this hotel and I realized that this hotel needs serious physical improvement. I received an upgrade to 802 (the receptionist said that it was the largest room at this hotel, and it was spacious). But, the room was really old. It looked old and it felt old; the lights, the bed, the room, the bath & shower, and the lobby. I couldn't imagine how the standard room looked like. Those basic facilities worked quite okay, but that's it. Don't expect to have an Internet connection. I could use the Internet with my laptop, but I could hardly use it with my mobile. Shortly, the hotel offered very basic service, because it's cheap. So, don't expect much!

There isn't any ornament in the room that makes the room alive. So if I enter the room, it's just like entering a box.. The breakfast pastry always the same.

I spent most of my time in the hotel opposite where I felt more confortable, including for dinners. The food : is really miserable. Smoking areas and rooms : without a single ashtray around, forcing people to use their plates if they don't want to extinguish their cigarettes on a plastic, linoleum floor. Inside the room no choice : you have to use the bathroom glass. Very limited choice of drinks. On the good sides : excellent sound insulation in room as always. But it won't be enough to justify a next time.

It was my 2nd-time stay at Ibis Arcadia, overall it was good but why I always got a room which has a problem. For example, the AC didn't work well (feeling hot) and the room has a smell not good.

As usual I had another excellent 2 nights stay recently at Ibis Jakarta, Arcadia. The hotel met with all my expectations. The staff greeted and made me felt very welcome as I walked through the front door to check in. The room allocated to me was clean and comfortable. i slept very well during the two nights I stayed at the hotel. Location wise, it is excellent . All essential facilities are nearby within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel to all budget travelers to Jakarta. Personally , without question, I shall return again.

Warm welcome service from your staff. Which was amazing! Friendly and helpful, excellent services. Unfortunate when we were about to go to our bedroom, it was out of our expectations from what we had earlier from your staff. No aircon in the elevator it was very hot, barely can breathe during the hot weather last time. The alley hotel was very hot as well! We requested baby crib was look very old and dirty. We weren’t happy during my stay, we all know Ibis is one of popular hotel in Indonesia, we were hoping that the hotel will be amazing as seen from the picture.

In a 3 night stay, i saw 20 cockroaches in my bathroom. They were everywhere. Pretty disgusting, ask house cleaning to spray bug spray on the first night, didnt really help with the problem. Bed were also springy, meaning i can feel the metal springs not comfortable. No refrigerator, didn't check if part of the room amenities but I haven't come across hotels recently with no fridge in room.

The stay was good, but you could provided more amenities. no shampoo, no conditioner, no shower gel. just a refill box of unknown liquid attached to the wall nearby the shower. it's probably a shower gel but no label and it looks super suspicious. you know you can provide a proper shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion not a 3 in 1 cleanser. and please put more electricity plug. i can only find 1 close to the kettle. the breakfast was enough and I do appreciate the welcome fruit. but you know you can do better for the amenities.
