The room is clean and pleasant. The staff is adorable. The room is noisy, it's a pity that windows don't have insulated glazing. The breakfast is good, but the coffee is really bad. Clearly the worse coffee I drunk in São Paulo.

Ibis is always a decent quality hotel whatever you go. However this one had the least helpful and more unhappy staff I've seen in a while. They're not exactly rude but clearly there is a culture of no smiles and not looking at the customers .

Rooms were fine, food was okay. The door cards didn't work several times despite reprogramming. Turned out to be empty batteries in the door lock. The main issue was that the TV in the dining room was showing excerpts from old horror/vampire movie Nosferatu and also naked adults. While I disliked it I would have accepted it. However, we had our 6 and 9 year old kids with us who should not have been exposed to that in a hotel. Our 6 year old son has suffered from severe nightmares since coming back and keeps referring to that hd saw in the hotel. Not acceptable. We told the guy at checkout about the non child-friendly programme on rotation but there was no real understanding how serious that is for children.
