Decided to give Ibis a try and what a mistake. The room was clean and had modern decor but the temperature was ridiculous. I asked at reception as I thought it was us not using the air con properly and was simply told 19 is the lowest it will go. It actually felt hotter than that and not even able to open a window to get air in on the hottest weekend of the year. The bathroom is tiny, you can sit on the toilet and have one foot in the shower and one in the sink. Shower lacked water pressure. Breakfast was average, orange juice was more like squash. Wouldn’t stay here again.

We usually stay at a Premier Inn but decided on Ibis this time. Consider it an upgrade! Fresh clean rooms, excellent location for Uni visits, good night's sleep, and a great breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.
