I would like to share my experience during my recent stay at the hotel, as unfortunately, I was not satisfied with either the level of service or the overall condition of the property. I had originally booked my stay from 14 to 16 August. I was supposed to arrive in Hoceima around 11:00 a.m. on 14 August, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to arrive at that time and had to go directly to a wedding. I therefore contacted the hotel in the morning to explain the situation and informed them that I would only be able to arrive very late at night, after the wedding. The conversation ended with the understanding that I would arrive later that night. During the wedding, I unfortunately did not hear my phone ringing and subsequently noticed four missed calls from the hotel. I immediately called back to understand the situation. I was then informed that, according to the handover from the colleague who had left, my reservation had been cancelled because I had not arrived. I was extremely surprised by this, as I had a confirmed reservation and my credit card details had been provided as a guarantee, and they can credited it, Based on my experience with hotels internationally, my understanding is that in case of a no-show, the hotel may charge the first night according to the reservation conditions and this is totally normal for me. I explained that I was travelling from another city and that I had nowhere else to stay. After checking again, the colleague finally confirmed that my reservation was still active. I arrived at approximately 5:30 a.m. on 15 August and completed my check-in. At that point, I asked about my check-out time, as I had a late check-out included in my reservation. I was clearly informed that my check-out time was 5:00 p.m., to which I replied that this was perfectly fine. Unfortunately, the issues continued later on my last day which is 16th of August. While I was still sleeping, I suddenly received a call from reception arround 1p.m asking me to check out. I explained that I had a late check-out included in my reservation. I was then told that this information was not showing in their system because the reservation had been made through the Accor website, the guy said i will re check and come back to you. Shortly afterwards, while I had the “Do Not Disturb” sign clearly displayed on my door, the housekeeper knocked on my door and informed me that she had been told that the room was due for departure. A few minutes later, I received a second call from reception asking when I would be leaving. I was told that, because the hotel was fully occupied, the late check-out could only be granted until 3:00 p.m. free of charge, and that a later departure would be subject to an additional charge, which i am aware of it and I accept to add it during my reservation. I explained once again that my reservation clearly included a late check-out. I was then told that their colleague had not included this information in the amount charged. At that point, I was extremely disappointed. This was not a question of the additional cost. My concern was the overall experience and the fact that I, as a customer, was repeatedly asked to deal with issues resulting from discrepancies within the hotel's system and internal communication. In addition to the service issues, I also found the property itself to be poorly maintained, which further contributed to my overall disappointment. I had simply expected to be able to enjoy a quiet and comfortable stay after travelling and attending a wedding. Instead, I had to repeatedly explain the same situation to different members of the hotel team, receive several calls regarding my departure, and deal with internal system and communication issues that were not caused by me. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed my perception of the hotel. This will be the last time I set foot in this property, and I would not recommend this hotel to others based on my experience. I sincerely hope that the hotel will take this feedback seriously and review both its internal communication and its overall maintenance and service standards, so that future guests do not experience the same level of inconvenience and disappointment.

Poor service, poor room and unacceptable bathroom and shower. The hotel does not meet Accor group standards or even the basic standards of a 4-star hotel

The rooms are very disgusting did get back to lobby asking for a other room it was almost the same, than again back en again a bad room o have complaint again and the person a te desk told me the good rooms are fully booked I am not used to this from Mercure first en last time here and my Amex was not accepted by the staff at first

Overall it was good . ( terrassa needs to be cleaned though) room is good ( needs more cleaning too)

Overall the hotel and staff were great but the air conditioning wasn’t working properly which made it difficult in the heat. Also the disabled wheelchair access is poor, too many steps and not enough wheelchair ramps

I had stayed four days in the residence, I would like to be frank and share with you this experience: Good things: Super view, great and clean beach in the front Staff, security and collaborator are nice. Animation in the pool are supper as well. Bad things: Restaurant is not variety , weak quality of food, food, and if come little late you will not find what you eat. Appartment are not clean as must be Services is week, I asked for iron, the have only one at hotel, and if you call for they sa, they will inform you, not one do follow up. The city is good, for me I will choose an other hotel next time.

The hotel is good. The location is good. The restaurant not too good The smell is not good

The spot is perfect, the massage lady is very sweet and good. The rest is kinda bad, rooms are nlt clean, dusty, there were bugs in the bed, the shampoos and towels and stuff were not changed unless we complain, the whole place is understaffed and for 1600+ a night it s not worth it. I took it as a gift for my parents and asked to take care of them and was grately dissappoint

Unfortunately, our stay at Mercure Quemado Resort was disappointing, despite the hotel’s excellent location and the kindness of the staff. The sea view is beautiful, and the team was polite and welcoming, but the hotel itself is in urgent need of renovation. Most facilities look old, worn-out, and poorly maintained. Cleanliness was the biggest issue. Our room had dust everywhere, the toilet did not look properly cleaned, and the balcony was extremely dirty with spider webs and accumulated dirt. During our two-night stay, the cleaning service came once, but the result was very poor: they only made the bed and removed the towels without replacing them. They even left a used cleaning cloth behind, which had a strong, unpleasant smell. There was also a persistent odor of sewage and mold, especially noticeable in the bathroom and even stronger around the parking area. This made the stay uncomfortable and far from relaxing. Overall, we cannot recommend this hotel unless your only priority is the view and proximity to the sea.

I would rate this place 10 stars. It’s just Wow. Everything was exceptional. Best location . The hospitality and team were super helpful from the reception (Yousra & Ayoub), housekeeping and bell desk ! The Restaurant waitress & bartender were super sweet! Outstanding rooms! Didn’t want to leave, They really make you feel like home. Highly highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again.

Amazing with good servie from reception to cleaning every thing good

Wasn’t a good stay , the elevator was not maintained, very old , we have been blocked there for 5min , the staff are asking for money for the towels . The breakfast was very simple and to much crowded . After that worst block at the elevator , we request for some water to be delivered to the Apartment two bed room , but nothing has been delivered, I goes to the bar to buy two bottles of water each on 35 DH . By the way I was reserving two rooms at the property, 1 at the hotel in addition of the second one at the apartment building .
