So much better than expected

I expected a tidy room with a minimal breakfast, but the friendliness and quality of the room, lobby, and hotel far exceeded my (modest) expectations. With a Basel card to get around, the hotel's location away from the historical area was quickly turned into an asset of increased ease of mobility and comfort. The room was large enough, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast offered a sufficient selection and quality to stay here alone. It surpassed my needs for a night and would be happy to return and stay longer.

Good stay

Overall good stay in a tiny room which was surprisingly not noisy though it was near the tracks. The room was very different from the regular IBIS ones where I have stayed before. The toilet does not have a wash basin. One needs to go to the other side to use the wash basin. There was only a small stool to sit and not a proper table

Good location near the old Town and new

Stopped in for a couple of days before going on to Interlaken. The hotel is clean, fresh and well located. Great place to stay.

Nice Hotel. Pretty close to Main Train Station and city center. Strange smell when you arrived to the room.

Large room for 4 people, sofa bed not really confortable. Luckily we brought our own inflatable mattress. The door of the toilet / bathroom could not be fully closed or locked. Not ideal when 4 people are in the room.
