We stayed here for a couple of nights and found the room to be slightly quirky, clean and comfortable, albeit minimally furnished with just enough space (the table/desk folds down and might not be suitable if you actually needed to do some work). Appreciated having a safe. We were surprised to discover that our end of corridor room on an upper floor was actually one of the larger ones available and had a different shower room layout. A friendly team at reception and many thanks to Rosina for all her help sorting out our booking (my mistake). We were given a code for an app giving us a free transport pass for the city. Personally I prefer old fashioned pdfs, or something printed, to having to install something on a smartphone. Breakfast is included. This turned out to be a really good bonus. A well-stocked buffet with options including fresh fruit, bircher muesli, cold meats and cheese, some hot cooked items and a range of breads and pastries. I noticed some plant-based vegan yogurt too. The location is excellent. The no 10 runs from Eigerplatz to the Bahnof and the old town. There's a post office over the road, plus an excellent café (Drip Roasters). Among local restaurants we'd recommend the Eiger which uses fresh local ingredients, offers some plant-based options and has the menu in English (if not the wine list - the staff are very helpful).

My wife has a good memory of staying this hotel. My wife and I felt a bad smell like sewer, and I told the guy in the front desk. He kindly told me what he could do for us, and we moved to new room. Two-day stay was very pleasant and comfortable for us.

A bit off from the center but moving around easy thanks to card granting free transport (very modern and frequent). The building looks like from the 80`s but brand new inside (yet one of the floors closed due to works!?). Quite small rooms. Good breakfast.
