Underwhelming right from the moment the taxi drew up. Peeling paintwork and overflowing bins welcome you to your first stop after arrival at Heathrow. Pre-arrival I had asked if it was ok to post something in advance for me to collect. However nobody here knows anything and just politely go through the motions of looking and then apologize. Grab a quick pint before lugging our 5 cases to the room. Just our luck room 123 is miles from reception along winding claustrophobic inducing corridors that has the paint chipped off almost every doorframe. Finally arriving at room 123. Two adults , five cases zero floor space. The bed is super soft, I'll give them that. Bathroom is bigger than the bedroom. The toilet is so squashed into the corner you can only locate "one cheek" at a time. The very high bath ( not as young as I was) the shampoo dispenser that didn't work, the instructions free shower all added to my frustration. The first night of a special holiday was not going as planned. On the upside the breakfast was good, but they didn't appear ready for the throng. Paper coffee cups, no cutlery etc Things can only get better

Very poor. Food in restaurant is buffet style, hardly any left when we arrived ( within restaurant hours) , more school canteen than restaurant. Poor standard. Very dated hotel , Sink wouldn’t drain, air con hanging off wall , no batteries in TV control. Kettle wouldn’t switch off Stay somewhere else

Our first room the Air Conditioning did not work at all and room was extremely hot. Was offered another room where the fan was making a very loud noise. Settled on third room where the Air Conditioning worked, but clearly someone had been smoking in the non-smoking room. Rooms are very tired. Marked walls, faded paint and curtains not properly fixed. On the plus side the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Dated Smelly Room

Room was so dated and smelly. The bathroom was so substandard, mirror was falling off the wall and it looked like a DIY bathroom job. The shower was filthy. The aircon didn't work properly . It is a 1-star hotel Staff very cold and not helpful at all. I would not recommend if you like a clean nice hotel room, this is more like a backpackers.

FTVic Families - TripAdvisor review

Hotel is well positioned only 10 minutes from the airport. However, it is very dated and tired and in need of urgent updating. We changed rooms twice (first room aircon did not work and room was very hot, second room had something wrong with the aircon fan which was very loud). Rooms are a great size for a family but walks are marked, curtains need repair and generally feels outdated.
