Rooms were great, pool was nice. But what made the weekend was how the chief got along with the kids. We also enjoyed the lady’s doing basket weaving. Only negative is you can not park close to your rooms.

Out of all our stays on our trip from Europe (Anbinik suites in Jabiru and Litchfield Motel in Batchelor), Cooinda was our most comfortable stay. The room was very nice and comfortable, especially the bed. The fact that the bathroom has no extraction vent or ventilator is a minor downside as it makes ventilating that space difficult. We did, however, find a dead cockroach in the corner of our room upon arrival. Also, the space behind the bathroom door was a bit dirty, suggesting that the room does not get cleaned in the corners between guests (understandable, but perhaps the occasional more thorough clean would be good. We loved the restaurant experience at Cooinda as well and were grateful for the full service by the restaurant despite it being the wet season. The quality of the food was really very good and we enjoyed meeting the chef from Scotland very much. The pools were nice too.

Loved the location and easy access to the yellow billabong tour, which was so incredible we did it twice during our three day stay. One morning and one afternoon experience on the boat with local aboriginal guides. We loved the natural setting of Cooinda with its own billabong and abundant wildlife of wallabies, wild brumbies, parrots and of course the lovable Ernie a part dingo pet dog who was always up for a cuddle. The pool area is an oasis on its own and the accomodation and restaurant was superb. We got to try a delicious mixed platter of crocodile, buffalo and kangaroo. We had a fantastic time for a three night stay. Thankyou to Staff at Cooinda cheers Colleen and Greg F.

I was satisfied with the room and the stay. Beautiful location. However; the restaurants and bar advertised on the website did not match what was open. If the website listed what was actually available e.g. Mimi's restaurant not Barra Bar. Out of the hotels control but their internet was down which meant you couldn't pay by cards. Some notice prior to arrival would be good. In addition; the Accor booking confirmation stated that their would be nothing to pay at the hotel but when we arrived we were asked for payment. Accor should probably look into this, without reception it was hard for me to confirm what had been taken from my account.

Was nice to be in lovely surroundings, customer service could have been a bit friendlier (smiles etc).. chef was the only happy staff member there with a smile! Computers were down maybe that contributed to the moods of people! Are in restaurant both nights.. service on 2nd night was poor..

We booked 3 rooms as we were travelling as an extended family group. We booked a special deal that included dinner and the yellow water cruise. It was excellent value for money and we were very happy with our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable and nicely decorated and furnished. The staff are friendly and helpful, grounds are maintained well, breakfast was good and our dinner there was delicious - they offer an interesting menu and the food was cooked really well. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Great place to stay

My wife and I were camping on the grounds, the service was fantastic and the staff very friendly However, The restaurant needs to have fly curtains installed above doors stopping flies from entering the complex, it was extremely annoying when consuming meals with flies on tables and the food. Look forward to visiting again during Easter holidays.

Disappointing is the only way to describe our stay, unfortunately. The accommodation was really nice, clean and had cooled down for us before we walked in- awesome :) But that's where the good things stop. Being told one thing about the vouchers in reception and and another in the bar when trying to order drinks and food. Not being able to add simple bacon & egg to our burgers " NO we can't do that "was the response from staff member The food looked great BUT was super dry and overcooked - why ask how we want the burger cooked if dead is all they know how to cook drink glasses plates and cutlery were oily and dirty at breakfast buffet - got a nice cold sore from that So overall the experience was very underwhelming and not one i would repeat

From the moment I reserved additional nights the reception staff were helpful. Our accommodation was unbelievable. The food was fantastic. The staff on the cuise was very knowledgable. Damian the gent who took us on our 4wheel drive tour should be commended to his knowledge and his hospitality.

Yellow water cruise with Mandy excellent. Staff everywhere friendly helpful, including kitchen staff serving staff and reception staff. Coffee machine for breakfast ridiculous. Environmentally unfriendly by using pods, complicated instructions and very slow. Offering shampoo etc in single use plastics should be banned. Nobody needs it and the environmental waste appalling. Also air conditioner in tent with open flaps is pretty wasteful fans are good enough.

We had a 3 night wet-season stay with our family of 4, staying in 2 adjacent cottages. The grounds were lovely, and while the rooms were modest in size, they had been recently refurbished, and felt bright, clean, cleverly decorated in a smart/minimal way that felt tailored to their specific location. The beds were great, the aircon really effective (and necessary!) and the fixtures and fittings all great. The garden setting was lovely, the kids loved the "plunge-pool" swimming pools, and the food at the restaurant well and truly exceeded expectation, with an interesting menu made with real flair. The bar had a small but decent selection of beer and wine, and the service was consistently professional, friendly and unobtrusive, from the reception, restaurant & bar staff to the cleaners. Overall we felt looked after and really enjoyed our stay.

Great relaxing stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 1 night, the "glamping" tents were well situated at the facility, the staff was lovely and the food was great. The only negative was the light that was omitted by the shared amenity building, the light was very bright and on all night, this was visible from inside our glamping tent and was a little annoying. Not only did the light project into the tents surrounding, but it also attracted bugs overnight. It could be mitigated by installing a timer switch or movement senses so that the lights are only on when triggered, this would provide many values add including fewer bugs being attracted, less light omitted and also reduce the energy consumption of the park, increasing energy efficiency, better for the environment heck yes!

We stayed at the new tents/huts and had a wonderful experience. Everything very new and comfy. Huts are a bit closer to each other than expected but you can rent the ones that face the bush. Breakfast was delicious, swimming pool looked great (didnt go in) and enjoyed the yellow water cruis for sunrise. We were very impressed and hopefully will Be back :)
