We have been to Cooinda many tines. This was the first time in one of the outback retreats. My wife thought there should have been something to hang one or two items of clothing on, something to put a suitcase on and a little writing table (I'm nt sure there would be room for the table, but the others would fit, especially of the suitcase rack could be folded out of the way. It would have been nice if there was a biscuit to go with a cup of tea.

We stayed in a glamping tent for the first time and we loved it. Had everything we wanted and a great experience, specially when we had thunder and lightning on our first night, brilliant. Visited the area and went on a fantastic local wildlife boat cruise, we could easily have got back on the boat and done it again. Great memories.

Overall our stay was good, good pool facilitates, happy hour by the pool was lovely. The restaurant was good and we did have breakfast which was exactly what we need after the cruise. The glamping tent was good for 2 adults, the main bed was very comfortable however I would not stay in a glamping tent again if I have my kids with me. The small dust covered fan that is supposed to assist with moving air from the main bedroom area to the bunk beds did very little. To help move air the fan needs to be up high. The day we arrived it was 38 degrees and the space where the bunk beds were was very hot. We tried to cool the space by putting the small dust covered fan on a chair and yes we did out the AC lower than the 24degrees it states. Eventually during the night it did cool down but not till very early morning. The space started to hear up very quickly the next day with the sun on it. The cleanliness of the shower screen had to be seen to be believed. The sticker on the shower says ezi clean. The plastic strip at the bottom of the shower had not been cleaned in months. When we saw how disgusting it was we wore shoes in the shower. Happy to send photos as we took photos.

Always helpful staff to cater for my husband’s disability needs such as providing a lodge and parking close to the restaurant and office. Lodge was roomy and comfortable and air conditioning was much appreciated. Issue of leaking shower sorted on the same day and rusty kettle replaced. Beautiful grounds and swimming pool much appreciated with plenty of bird life. Restaurant food ok but the kangaroo was tough. Enjoyed the Yellow river afternoon cruise. The guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Well located for Cahill crossing visit and other places of interest. A very enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful stay with lovely food and great staff until the last day. As we were heading out i had to stop the car briefly for 20 seconds to retrieve a rouge water bottle and one of your staff driving a golf cart started beeping snd swearing at us repeatedly saying fuck off. It was really inappropriate and spoilt an otherwise nice visit.

Every thing is managed very well and your staff are both charming and helpful.As older people staying (84 and mid 90's) we found the lack of a rail for getting in and out of the pool difficult. Yes it spoils the look but one could be placed along the ramp. l

Our family glamping experience was exceptional. We loved the accommodation, food, pool, yellow water cruise, location and the handy shop and petrol. We also took a flight to see Kakadu that was just right there and enjoyed a few other NT tourism activities.

A laid back and friendly resort. Basic, but it met our needs. It’s a shame that Mimi’s restaurant is not open for dinner, leaving just the bistro. Very clean rooms.
