We booked the most expensive room - (Superior 1 Queen Bed Room) Room was scruffy, well worn and very disappointing. Restaurant Food was well presented and very nice.

The rooms were comfortable but the service was second to none. Leanne from the dining room was so friendly and professional. Her table service was the best I have seen in a long time and the best on the floor by far. The front house manager was so friendly and helpful with reservations and local knowledge. The hotel itself is located centrally so you can explore Kakadu in a different direction each day. I highly recommend it.

The facility was reasonable. The room was tired looking, unclean and the bathroom fittings with a pull chain and small basin only was antiquated. Staff at the front desk were helpful. Tables were left uncleared at times in the eating area.

It was a pleasant stay however the fridge wasn't working and I had to wait 3/4 hr to have it replaced so I could put my food in it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I have stayed with you many times and recommended others who have stayed.

We had a pleasant 2 night stay. No issues to speak of. They young Indonesian Lady at Reception was exceedingly pleasant, helpful and efficient. We dined at the Restaurant for both breakfast and Dinner. Breakfast was buffet style and was adequate - was able to get eggs cooked to order which was good. Options for Dinner were good as was the quality of food and service. The Pool was a welcome relief from the heat. The only areas of improvement would be the rooms which though clean and tidy are dated and sufficient food options during the day when the restaurant was closed. Ready made sandwiches and snacks ran out both days we were there.

Hi we.were greeted warmly.on arrival,however then not offered any assistance or even a trolley to put our luggage on. We were travelling with children so had a lot of stuff. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. The food was generally good although.the haloumi burger need some pizzazz.. Like a relish or something to lift it and balance it out. The bedding was clean and the rooms were tidy. Everything is tired looking though and small things need repairing or refreshing to make it a nicer environment. The sliding doors in our room did not slide. The gardens are not well weeded, there is a stump in one of the courtyard areas. The pool had grainy stuff on the floor but was ortherwise lovely.

We took a quick trip to Kakadu and very excited to be staying at the Iconic crocodile hotel, staff at reception were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area and booked us some tours. Dinner and breakfast was great, resort is a little dated but overall clean and friendly. Noted we travelled out of season.

While I understand the hotel is getting older, better maintenance would have improved our experience. The shower head in the bathroom leaked everywhere, the bathroom was clean but obviously not well maintained as there was old mould in the grout between the tiles. There was only 2 tea bags in the room and 3 sugars, just enough for one cup of tea.

In my last visit at Croc hotel, Jabiru I had requested for an egg omelette during having my buffet breakfast as I neither eat bacon nor egg crumble. First day Operation manager need to intervene to arrange in after refusing from the chef couple of times and second day I was waiting for 15 minutes and left the restaurant without having it. I think this is not representing the good customer service. I would expect the hotel should offer at least one chicken item in the buffet breakfast to avoid this kind of situation.

Rooms are functional but a bit tired. We ate at the restaurant on 3 occasions and the food was good but the service was very slow. Was not shown an itemised account before paying for my stay and was told one would be emailed to me but did not receive this till I emailed them a week or two later.

Was a bit disappointing on this occasion. We have been regulars at your hotel over the last 10 years, often visiting as family, bringing visitors to Kakadu or just a weekend away. We have always enjoyed our stay but on this occasion a few too many things were a bit off the mark. Check in was annoying as no one was the desk and I wandered around for a while trying to find someone - only to discover he was off doing another task that he was required to do and then I was stuck lining up to check in. Also when we arrived for breakfast, almost all the empty tables were still dirty. Then the breakfast bar was empty - we were greeted by another customer who said he had asked about 6 times for the bain-maries to be re-filled. Our choices were baked beans, mushrooms and cereal. Then there was no milk in the coffee machine. There seemed to be only one staff member serving at breakfast time - despite been a fullish hotel I am not sure how you expect one wonderful and very friendly staff member to do everything. Also the air con vent in our room in our vent was very dirty. I think your best asset at the hotel is your staff but they will not be able to deliver the service required of a $300 plus a night experience if there are not enough to share the workload. At the time of our stay you were quite full (especially for this time of year) and to run the hotel without adequate staffing is not fair on anyone.
