Stayed 4 nights before our trip to Punta Mita. Arrived on my birthday and they upgraded us to a suite. The sunrise over the volcano was magical every morning. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. Thank you so much and would defo like to come back!

We had two back to back amazing stays at the Sofitel Reforma, the entire staff we so engaging, helpful and pleasant, amazing service. All staff were fantastic, we also met the executive chef of Balta, the chef who was helping from South America and the hotel manager, all engaging just as the rest of the staff in both Citizen and Balta were fantastic, everyone made a point to ask how our stay was and if we needed anything. My husband would to like to especially note that Natalie, Nathalia, Frida, Anna, Alex, Jana and the rest of the Millesime Lounge team who were all extraordinary, I apologize for the names we missed. The hotel went above and beyond to welcome our guests who were joining us for our second weekend, thank you, they were completely wowed. They live in St. Miguel and have friends flying through Mexico City frequently and will be recommending it as well and we will to our Canadian friends heading into your fabulous city. Gracias!!!

A 5 Star Experience

This is a beautiful hotel with well appointed and spacious rooms and it's location is unparalleled. We had a King Jr. Suite and it was great. My wife enjoyed the massive soaker tub and I loved the views. The food is excellent as well (Raspberry Croissant is to die for), but the staff send it to the next level. They helped us arrange for bikes to spend the Sunday cycling on Reforma, set up spa services, and were always attentive to every detail. Jany, the Guest Experience Manager and her staff were truly outstanding - to name a few, there were Natalia, Natalie, Alexandra, Laura, and others who's name escape me at the moment. The Bellman, Valets and housekeeping staff were all great as well. I would highly recommend staying at Sofitel Reforma for a true 5 Star Experience.

Great hotel stay in Mexico City

I'm a bit torn, because I don't want to give it a full five star, but it's not as low as a four star rating. It would be a 4.5 to 4.75 star rating from me for one small thing..., I'm a bath guy and my room only had a shower. Otherwise this was a great hotel and room to stay when in Mexico City. From the start the staff was attentive, helpful and courteous, which I appreciated as a non-Spanish speaker. I loved the view of Mexico City from the room, especially at night. The layout and size of the room was great, giving you a constant line of sight of the view. There were plenty of amenities in and out of the room as various features were automated, like the blinds. Everything was clean, with the space to work and handle luggage. There was precious little noise, allowing a good night's sleep. As for food, I only ate breakfast, which was good. It's in a very interesting spot in Mexico City. Very safe because the American Embassy is next door and with a few familiar stores around for food, shopping and exploring.
