OK room 1010 with good service: overall the hotel could improve on cleanliness and maintenance in the public areas

Lovely hotel with lots of restaurants nearby. Located in a quiet and not so busy part of the city. There is a bus stop nearby but the closest train station is a bit of a walk. Only complaint is that the pick-up point for Grab is too far in the basement because of ongoing road works. Drivers kept complaining that it’s inconvenient and takes up gas.

Very poor client service

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us following your recent stay. Please accept our sincere apologies that your experience did not meet your expectations, especially regarding the arrival experience and the recognition for being our ALL Gold member. We would like to kindly clarify that, as requested, our team had arranged for all three of your rooms to be located on the same floor, while also accommodating the request for two rooms to be configured with a king bed and one room to be configured with twin beds. Due to the room configurations and availability during your arrival and for the duration of your stay, we were only able to accommodate the rooms together on Level 4 and at the same time keeping to the room type which you had booked. With regards to the room upgrade, we will always be happy to upgrade the room the member is in if one is available at the time of arrival. While we regret we were unable to provide the upgrade you had hoped for, it was certainly never our intention not to recognise or value you as our Gold member. As part of the ALL membership benefits, the welcome amenity is typically extended to the room occupied by the member. However, in recognition of your booking, we had arranged an additional welcome amenity for a second room, seeing that our Gold members may book up to two rooms under the same stay and receive rewards points for up to two rooms. Nonetheless, we are truly sorry that the overall experience and interactions with our team left you disappointed. Your feedback has been shared with the relevant department for review on how these are being communicated with our guests, as we continuously work on improving the service experience we provide to our valued guests. The room was great and the bed is very comfortable. The hotel is clean, and the front office is helpful and quick to respond. Getting to MRT station is a 12 mins walk, and the breakfast spread is not as good as other hotels, personally. YMMV
