The staff are amazing. Peter at breakfast and Marcus and Eidil by the pool are great at remembering you and are very friendly and thoughtful. The concierge and housekeeping staff were also great and so helpful. Some flexibility around the menu having more gluten free options would be great and have made my rating top marks.

Amazing. JAYDEN has single handedly elevated my experience here in sofitel sentosa. It's so true that the forefront of the industry playes such an important role in the first impression and he nailed it. With Jaydens addition to the team i can only see one direction that Sofitel sentosa is headed towards , and that's upwards. Kudos.

Hi Cavaliere and team, Thank you for the personal touches you left in the hotel room for this staycation for my girlfriend's birthday. It felt like you were within touching distance - just a call/ text/ email for anything that we needed. Overall, it was a decent stay at Sofitel Sentosa. It was my first time there, and everything that was promised was delivered. However, I felt that the hotel team did not go above and beyond, to which I felt a little disappointed because of the price I paid and the occasion (my girlfriend's 26th birthday). For example, I made a call to request if it was possible to change the dinner to room service, but the hotel staff over the phone simply said no. I did not probe further - however, it would have been nice if the hotel staff could have done so for us (my girlfriend was feeling tired and would have preferred to have a simple dinner in the room), or at least tried to understand why I was making the request. There are some other aspects that were poor, but I think those were out of your control (I may cover some of them below). I hope that my feedback will help you review my experience in particular, and also generally for your guests/ the hotel. Areas for Improvement: 1. Reception Staff's Poor Command of English. Towards the later part of the night, I had experiences talking (both in person and over the phone) with two ladies who had quite a poor command of English. It was difficult for them to understand what we were asking and to reply to our queries. For small issues like our questions about the spa/ facilities etc, this would usually be a non-issue. However, I had requested to leave my acai in the freezer, to which one lady replied that there was one in the reception. We were happy to hear that there was a quick solution to our problem (of melted acai) - however, to our horror, we picked them up the next morning and found them completely melted. I am upset because I could have tried to find another freezer/ bring them back to someone's house first, and also because we could have simply kept the acai in the room fridge instead. 2. Spa Facilities. I would like to thank the reservations team for being patient with my queries, and also extending free access to a 4th guest to the spa facilities. However, I think the information on the spa was not clear - I was shocked to find out that we needed to take a bus out of Sofitel to the spa (I don't think this is publicised anywhere), and also we found it difficult to find much information on the general spa pools and facilities on the website as well. Perhaps the hotel team can look into this, to make the guest experience more seamless and easy to navigate. 3. Price and/or Package. a) I saw on the website that bookings made there would have been eligible for a double upgrade. However, due to the occasion, I did not want to take the chance that I wouldn't get the upgrade (as I needed to have space for 3 people to sleep). However, none of your team mentioned to me about this, and I also didn't think it was appropriate to probe. b) It was also unclear that all full board had to be consumed at Kwee Zeen - I thought I could go to any restaurant in the hotel premises. I was thus a bit disappointed to find this out, as I was looking forward to surprising my girlfriend with a meal at The Cliff, which I was looking at. c) As a suite guest at one of the top few accommodation options at Sofitel Sentosa, I also felt underwhelmed at the hospitality provided (less one round of minibar). I asked hotel staff if I could get free drinks at the bars or any other privileges, to which I learnt that it was not the case. I was disappointed because my experience with other hotels is that when booking a suite, many additional privileges would have been extended (e.g. access to lounge, free drinks and food). In fact, I felt at some points that I was begging for some privileges. In general, the feeling I have now is that the stay was not very worth the money that I paid. **** However, please extend my gratitude to the managers at Kwee Zeen - for the dinner on Fri, they went out of their way to make sure that my girlfriend's surprise went well!
