Check in was swift. Room was fairly good, appreciated the upgrade. Too much construction going on nearby kind of kills the “Bali” feel.

Junior Suite is quite brilliant, hotel setting idyllic, made more serene by the off-peak period, but the food was generally so-so, especially the breakfast buffet.

Love the peacefulness of the hotel. Nice to be upgraded to Prestige Suite. Hotel has a lot of surprises in terms of facilities - a Fish therapy pond, full gym, bicycles, shuttle bus to mainland. My only major dissatisfaction would be breakfast. At $44++ per pax, I expected a lot more than just an egg station, a cold cuts station, a dim sum station, bread station and a hot meals station which is basically your sausage, bacon, nasi lemak. Definitely not value for money and it was poorly managed especially the egg station. The queue system of giving your table number card will not work when your chef does not cook the egg orders in the correct queue. Guests were coming up to the station to jump queue and grabbing whatever they saw ready at the station and the cook did not stop them, leaving honest guests like me stupidly waiting for my eggs

Room was clean and tidy but was rather small and the layout not the most kid friendly. The fridge compartment is especially awkward. Bed was comfortable and shower was nice too.

A bit room smelled mold (178) but overall average accommodation with the pet. Room service line (food) was busy and person in charge was a bit corresponding roughly.

Nice relaxing hotel stay

We did a family stay with full board dining. The staff were friendly and helpful and the whole resort was clean. There’s big spaces for kids to run around and very enjoyable. The food at the cliff was great but dinner at Kwee Zin can be given a miss. Probably due to Low capacity, there weren’t many diners and it seemed like every few minutes the staff were checking to see if we had empty plates. Breakfast was however very decent.

Overall the hotel amenties, reception etc remained largely the same. However, the room i stayed this time is way below the 5 star hotel for Sofitel Sentosa. The table has a metal drawer. The chair was the banquet metal chair. There was no additional chair. When we ordered food service - chicken masala and also burrata ham, there was movable table and with the food on the table, it was not possible to work.

Had a great first staycation with my family including a young toddler. Staff were very friendly and helpful and any request we made was promptly responded to. Only issues were with the noise from construction near the tranquility wing and the fire alarm that went off on 2 occasions we were there (the first at midnight and the second in the afternoon the next day), both during the toddler's sleep times. Overall still an enjoyable and restful stay and would definitely come back again!

It was our 20th wedding anniversary and the bed had been decorated with petals and Champagne on ice in our room as organsed by our family. All in all a lovely stay but unfortunately attention to detail slipping somewhat as the Champagne was unfortunately double charged.

Always nice staying at the Sofitel. Recommend that hotel not change the welcome music on the TV welcome page as it's iconic for sofitel that brings back memories on check ins globally. Met with 6 false fire alarms, 4 of it during wee hours of the night awaking my newborn. And followed into the day after. The sound system is way too loud in the rooms. The bell ring can be heard from the bathroom but not from main room. The bed sheets were stained with blood specs and requested it be changed twice before it was really changed. The golden throne chair is so pretty but since its super dusty not possible to sit on. The bed feels hard compared to other hotels such as Ritz. Great there were ergonomic pillows which guests could request for. Guests not told they could retrieve beach passes on check in. The concierge/bell on check out left our bags on the floor when we were unloading luggages into the car, shows impatience and its really unhygienic esp during covid period. The lift was spoilt guests not only me had to climb stairs I had an infant with me and a stroller. The aircon is faulty and very slow (keeps offing and when I bring down temp the temp goes up). Mosquitoes.

best place to chillax in sentosa

spent 3 days here after a business trip. Environment is chill and staff is warm and friendly. Very relaxing tropical styled resort with a backdoor that goes straight to the beach. There's this little fish spa you can dip your feet in in the hotel's compound. Overall great stay, the hotel's italian restaurant ( The Cliff ) is simply amazing. Dined there twice.

Im bali/holiday deprived and Sofitel is a life saver!

Luxurious stay, but dusty rooms.

The rooms are decently sized, well equipped bathrooms. Service was excellent with timely responses to phone calls. We were able to get an early check in and a late check out. Now the bad... The room was dusty. Even after a wipe down, dust would appear again. Perhaps it's the ventilation or trapped dust in curtains and the mattress.

Alarm bell went on 6 times. 2 announcements saying investigation in progress. No final announcement to say all was OK leaving me wondering if faulty alarm or fire extinguished.

The television is not smart TV. No YouTube or Netflix channel. The checkin front desk receptionist are not very friendly especially towards local. They have to be mindful that it is the local that brings in the income during this border control period. The area behind the TV was filthy and extremely dusty. The bathrobes were frayed. The bedsheet were dusty, and I found a bug on the bed. The only saving grace was the spaciousness of the room and the staff at LeBar. They were friendly, welcoming and hospitable, especially Chris.

Disappointing staycation

We booked a Prestige Family suite and luxury room for our family staycation. Unfortunately the Prestige family suite has no view at the suite. We feel cooped up and disappointed as the photos in Sofitel website has misrepresented the suite. My husband was so upset he wanted to go back and the rest of family members have to pacify him. Nonetheless the vacation was ruined.
