We only stayed here for a night, in transit to elsewhere. Great location, close to a few malls, restaurants, and the waterfront. Being Platinum, we got upgraded to a suite; which was much appreciated. This was definitely one of the better Mercures I've stayed at Breakfast was very average, dinner at the rooftop restaurant was nice. A slight complaint that the drinks voucher does not include wine or beer; only soft drinks or a mocktail.

Dear Mercure Hotel Kota Kinabalu Management, I recently stayed at your hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The bathroom in my room was extremely small, with very limited space to move around, making it quite uncomfortable. Additionally, upon checking in, I found that the lobby's air conditioner was not functioning, which made the process of getting settled in rather unpleasant. To add to my discomfort, the room I stayed in was quite noisy during the night, which disturbed my sleep. I expected a much more comfortable and restful stay based on the reputation of your hotel. I hope you will take these issues into consideration for future improvements. Sincerely, Joey C.
