We came with no expectations to try out this Ibis-Styles @ Macpherson. We left entirely charmed. There is soul, there is life, in this seemingly hard concrete fortress. The people factor came through very quickly and clearly from the moment we walked into the Reception area. Check in was so swift and cool - no dilly-dallying. We were expected. Our 8th floor room was ready for us. So was the restaurant team. Executive Chef George was there, all too eager to pamper us with his signature dishes. His nan was tops - so good, we repeated three orders in our time there. Breakfast was also enjoyable. Despite the numbers, there were always seats for us. And, tip-top service attention. We have but all good praises for this outstanding Ibis-Styles - one that AccorPlus can be proud of. Encore, GM Shamila. 😊

Love the place,we had connecting room with my families .but our room with two kids there is a pole in the middle we could hardly move inside but that's not a big issue . I was disappointed only the staff at the power,because we stayed there for one week with free breakfast .I asked one chef if it is possible to have pouch egg one morning so not always scramble egg every morning Because am not fan of boiled egg. And older chef said it is possible my request just need to let them know,when I arrived one morning I approached the chef if I can have pouch egg that morning,he is very straight forward that NO this is buffet just eat what's in there,I do understand working in a busy place like that . Didn't realise there was a play room for the kids,one morning door was open so kids went there and had little play,so the next day after breakfast kids expect to have a little play after they had breakfast while we still having a breakfast,so I approached one staff if it is possible for the kids to have a play .He just responsed only that no play room,i didn't expect his replied didn't even bothered to tell me if there is only a day to open the play room or I need to pay also . We went there for holiday to enjoy,I was gonna ask reception about that matter but didn't get much chance because everyone gets busy. Hopefully this can help to improve what I experienced!

Basically when I booked the room I was showing 3 single beds as we were 03 adults, but we were given 01 double bed and 01 double cot. It was painful. Moreover there was no pauset in bathroom and washbasin was in the room. Room was tiny and place to keep bags and clothes. And food was pathetic, every day same food. Not a good experience. Will not recommend ur hotel again.
