Staycation with my partner at this hotel, despite a last minute decision turned out well and perfectly met our expectations in terms of cost and comfort. I would rated it even better if the front desk personnel took the initiative in throwing us complimentary breakfast in view of the lower occupancy rate around this period. Asides to this suggestion of mine, no other input based on our recent stay, and wound gladly choose this hotel over other hotels within the same price range in near future .

While I’ve enjoyed the no frills concept of Ibis, reception staff were awesome. However the Aircon in my room was terribly warm. despite setting it to the lowest temperature, the room temperature remained at an average of 26-27 throughout the entire stay. I’ve tried calling for a technician, but did not attend to me after an hour. I had to drop by the reception to bring up the feedback again before going out for dinner. Upon coming back to the room, the room temperature dropped from 27 to 26. I’m in the industry as well, and i understand the cost cutting measures, i also did not want to impose too much of a trouble since im only paying staff rates. But do i deserve less? I will be back again mostly because I do enjoy staying here, hopefully it will be better then.

Stayed here overnight coming in from Malaysia and the plan was to rest up and head to the airport the next day. Location is about a 10+ minute walk to the nearest metro which is the blue line that conveniently heads to the airport. The room size is surprisingly bigger than expected with a decent size bathroom. Place was clean and love how they manage to conserve space by utilizing the vertical space. The staff was very friendly and courteous, but they could have mentioned a bit more about the basic hotel feature, for example the wifi uses the guest login, and although I found out they did provide a paper they details it, it did frustrate me trying to enter the typical room no and last name password. Even a reminder that the lift requires your swipe card would be nice, as I entered the wrong angle and there were buttons on both side of the lift but only 1 side had the card reader which was out of my line of sight. It took a bit of time for the brain to register the fact that there might be a card reader after mashing the buttons a few time which was slightly annoying. Location wise it is not that great with the lack of food option around this place, and as it is just on the outer border of Geylang, it is a bit of a distance to where all the good food are that needs more than half an hour walk to reach or a short taxi ride. The mall that is under the hotel looks like it is still under construction as there were only a few open shops and plenty of empty places so hopefully that will not be an issue in the future. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and the hotel fitted my purpose perfectly as a stop over place that does not break the bank.

Easy check-in and a comfortable room with a good shower. I was only staying for one night, so that was all I was after. The Wi-Fi was stable throughout so nothing to complain about.

Signage of hotel is not enough, spend 5min to find the hotel entrance still cant get. Luckily saw a staff and ask him where's the entrance. Front desk staff was nice especially Jim & duty manager. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was less variety and taste normal. Not so impressive. Maybe can have noodle station or egg station in the future. Look forward on this.

Room size is so small and no room services are provided by staff. Staff is not cooperating even I asked for 100 dollar change and they refused to provide.

I came alone but had paid for a larger twin room for two people. Instead when the people in the reception noticed that I was alone they checked me into a smaller room for one person which didn't have a window. It was only later after having spent time going through my booking confirmation and the hotel website room data info I I was able to clearly demonstrate that the room they had given me had fewer squate feet than what it said on my booking and indeed the square feet on their larger room was identical to what was quoted on my booking that they agreed to give me the room I had paid for which had a window. Generally I also think it's important information to tell people who actually book the smaller room that this has no window as this is pretty important information when deciding which hotel to book but this information is NOT listed on your Web site. All in all I can safely say I am never going to book this hotel again

Spent 5 nights in a family room consisting of 3 adults. The bed and pillow were very comfortable. Even the sofa bed was of a good size once opened into a bed. For a 3 star hotel, the room size was luxurious. There weren’t any small insects in the room too. Really satisfied with the friendly staff as well. The only concern is the empty mall. Really hope that the mall can be rejuvenated to have more tenants so that it invigorate the hotel’s scenery and environment.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak in Singapore, we forced to cut short our trip and cancelled few bookings for our counterparts flying in from Germany. We hope that Ibis can refund those cancelled rooms and partial payment due to early checkout. This will really help to convince us for next stay in Singapore as our preference. Thanks.
