The room was with no air conditioner functioning and after the third complain about that situation it was proposed to me to get a electric heater from maintenance service which never appeared. The 4 nights I stayed in the hotel where the most discomforting I've ever experienced. This is a hotel not to return.

Jaime in the morning staff was a highlight, the fact that I don't think anyone cleaned the floor in my room for two weeks awas a lowlight. Jaime worked hard each day. He only had one off in the two weeks I was there. He spoke English with me, helped me translate stuff, helped me get what I needed and was always friendly. He even recomended a local restaurant that my friends and I fell in love with. Promote that kid. I wanted to take him home and adopt him if I could. Please don't advertise temperature control when the hotel overrides it. When it was 80 degrees Fahrenheit outside the hotel kept turning on the heat just because it was winter. Bt the way hot dogs and gravy is prison food, not what you expect guests to eat at a hotel.

I reserved using a winter offer, that offer included breakfast. It wasn't honored at Ibis Calama, despite the fact they charge me the same amount due on the reservation

Needs improvement with payments

The hotel was really nice, however, at the moment of the checked in I had a little problem. I made my reservation with Miles from My credit card and the hotel had the reservation, but not registered the payment. I had to solve the problem by calling my bank and doing everything by myself, not any assitance from the staff. At the end the bank had made the payment through a third party provider, and the staff figure out that they needed to charge the credit card registered in my hotel voucher. Next time, the staff should ask how can they help with a call or other ways. After that overall it was a nice stay.

The first day due to the schedule I wasnt able to dinner. And the bartender kindly served me. I explain i had 15000 CLP coupon for dinner and he said "no problem at all it could be used here." The problem was in my check out were the receptor didn't want to accept that. On the bright side, your breakfast buffet is amazing.

Awful, a cellphone was taken from my room. I put a denunciation at the police station. I will followng up the situation closely until a full clarification.

Because of the heavy rain and all the problems it has cuased in San Pedro and surroundings, the water supply was cut off. We do understand this is not the fault of the hotel or the staff. But the rooms and the corridor were not clean to the standards we are used to at Ibis, this had nothing to do with lack of water. We had a bad day trying to get to Calama, and couldn't get anything to eat, and in the morning we couldn't get breakfast. Surely with bottled water they could have made some coffee . Anyway, we do admit it was a bit chaotic because of the circumstances wheatherwise.
