Front desk staff was extremely courteous. There was one staff member who took extra time to spend with our toddler and made him comfortable. She was engaging with our little one when we were at high tea and gave us some adult time. We appreciate the extra effort.
Food was overall good during the breakfast buffet. Service was good too.
Room was a bit dated and could use a little more attention to the finer details for cleaning.

We went there for a staycation and we really got what we were looking for. Well maintained room easy access to the location. No hustle to get help from staff for anything we needed. One thing I would like to add that there was some scope to improve the food but it was good overall.

Our stay was pleasant and comfortable with the behaviour of all the staff including Ms Shreshta, Ms Nishita, Chef Mr Sunny, Ms Suparna, Mr Aadhil, Mr Sangram and many others. Room sizes and non availability of balcony was little bit issue, but grand lobby compensate that. Even spa staff Ms Bari was well behaved, trained. We like to visit again in future.

Drinking water quality was very poor. Not even supply a branded water bottle. Dirty blanketa. Congested room and toilet. Not worthy for money. Not recommended.

We stayed at the Grand Mercure Mysore for one night this month as a brief stopover on our way to Coorg, and we celebrated our daughter’s birthday during our stay.
The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the incredible restaurant staff. Glen and Robert sang so beautifully for our daughter, making her birthday feel truly magical and unforgettable—it was exceptional service! The front desk staff were also very helpful and polite throughout our check-in and stay, and the team consistently went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable.
Our overall experience was very positive and satisfactory, with just one minor hiccup: a couple of requests made at the front desk (specifically for an extra bed and a takeout breakfast for our child) didn't seem to get communicated to the respective departments, so we had to follow up.
However, because the staff members are so warm and genuinely caring, it remains a great hotel that we would happily recommend for families and travelers visiting Mysore. Thank you to the entire team for making our short stay so special!

Location of hotel is good, service is also good but the variety & taste of food is not good at all, we stayed for 2 nights for a corporate event, there were repetitions of food items in lunch & dinner, too slow service, totally cold food served, despite repeated requests/ complaints, reply was too slow. Variety in breakfast was also not that good, repetition daily. Also taste of food was not good, they need to improve a lot in this area & match with their goodwill
