We were a group of senior citizens occupying 85 rooms. Starting with a warm welcome at the front desk we had a memorable stay at The Grand Mercure, Mysore. The rooms were spacious, well maintained and refreshed daily. Parking space for the vehicles of guests is available. The staff of the restaurant was efficient and the food was great. In spite of being such large group, there was no delay in service or dilution in the standard of food. The breakfast spread was varied, although primarily vegetarian. Live Stations were functional at breakfast for eggs and South Indian fare. The Travel Desk was available to assist in planning our sight seeing. We had visualised a delay in the simultaneous departure of such a big crowd. However, the staff came out in full strength to ensure speedy loading. Thanks for a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

The room was nice, but I was expecting more for a 5 star. I had issues with the TV and the QR for the menu, so I called the front desk, and they told me they will come back to me. They never did. With the expectation of the pool area, there is a lack of places to relax, like a small lounge or a recreational area.
