We were assigned a room (magnified) that clearly had a moldy Odeur. We asked for a change and received a room with a similar smell, that came out of the AC.
This is overall a fabulous hotel, but if we don‘t get a proper room next time we will switch to another hotel (at a fraction of the cost). Prime prices require prime quality.

From the moment I was greeted as I got out of my Uber, I was immediately shown that I was going to be well taken care of, and was made welcome. From the reception desk, to my room, where Dario did such an incredible job of making sure I felt at home, to fantastic breakfasts with Juan Carlos by my side to share a little bit about each meal and even remembering how I liked my coffee. The Sofitel Legend in Casco Viejo is an experience I will not forget. I sure hope to visit again soon.

We had an exceptional stay in Sofitel. The hotel, the room, the people, the ultra high level of service. Everything is top notch and on point where it has to be.
Eventually we were a little afraid of the large size of the hotel because we often miss the personal touch in hotels like this. Nothing to be afraid of. People are amazing. They’re ready for some jokes and laughter and always at you personal service.
The one thing we were missing is a sauna. The spa looks perfect but even when it’s already hot outside, a sauna can be a nice extra for this hotel.
