We arrived 10am by train, they stored our luggage. Hotel staff very friendly, accommodating and a wealth of information. Very quaint, well decorated hotel. Rooms nice size, bathroom tight. Breakfast nice selection, bar area has live music, Thursday and Friday nights while we were there. Bus station and Tram (Tram to airport, starts at 6:30am) opposite end of St. Andrew's Square.

Ibis Styles Edinburgh St. Andrew Square is a uniquely designed, artsy hotel perfectly located near the tram, close to Waverley Station, and St. James Quarter. My room was nicely situated and had everything needed including great lighting, a large screen tv, fabulous rain shower (the beautiful Aran Aromatics are the hotel's featured products). and a water kettle with complimentary coffee, tea, and shortbread. The complimentary continental breakfast was extensive and delightful, with something for everyone from breads to cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, meats and cheeses, and more. The lounge area, where breakfast is served, is spacious and has both open table seating as well as more intimate spaces. The staff are notably gracious and were especially helpful throughout my entire stay. An excellent choice while in Edinburgh!
