Rooms were absolutely silent. Even our room facing the runway had absolutely zero noise. Everything was clean and modern. Air con and wifi were excellent on a stinking hot day. Staff friendly. Dinner in the restaurant was above the Accor average and breakfast was à la carte. Plenty of parking for $15 per night. Definitely a great, simple hotel done very well.

I recently spent 2 weeks at the Mercure Newcastle Airport Hotel, while visiting my sons in NSW. Reception greetings were friendly & professional, making my stay all the more pleasant. My room was comfortable & spacious, with the housekeeping staff attentive to any requirements. The meals are excellent - my compliments to the kitchen staff. Great coffee too! I can certainly recommend a stay, be it short or long-term at the Mercure Newcastle Airport Hotel & it's so convenient to the now international airport.

Rooms are very good, the breakfast selection is pretty decent and the quality on the menu is good. However, don’t stay here if you’re expecting any recognition of the Accor program - there is the no recognition of a members Accor status in terms of welcome gift
