The location is good for the train station. The staff were friendly. The hotel lobby, lift & floors in general were not cleaned for the 3 days I stayed here. This should be done regularly; it doesn't give a good first impression. And the cleaning room on my floor was always open & looked so messy. My room was average, in that it was quite old & tired. I had to ask for coffee & tea as there were not any in my room, my cups were a little dirty & 1 was chipped. I liked being on the street side as I had a tree for a view which blocked some noise from the street. I saw the breakfast option at the hotel but as the area wasn't really clean & had to pay extra for coffee I decided not to eat at the hotel. The atmosphere around the hotel area is very quiet. I went in December between Christmas & New Year & so many places were closed.

Location is excellant. Walking distance to light rail stations and inner Newcastle. Great easy parking as well. Staff wwere very helpful. Reception and bar light and airy. I was on ground floor and there was little or no noise. Room incrediably dated. Has pod bathroom that would not be wheel chair friendly. No details about wifi or tv provided. think $200 would be reasonable not the $400 plus I paid.

Hotel comodo in centro cittadino, ma non molto curato, peccato perchè purtroppo avevano delle infiltrazioni di acqua nel soffitto nella hall e questo ha causato dei disagi. La stanza strettina per due persone, come pure il bagno non molto grande. La colazione nulla di speciale, ma vi ho soggiornato solo 1 notte, durante un viaggio di gruppo.

Je connaissais les hôtels Ibis pour en avoir fréquenté pas mal en France. C'était toujours à peu près identique et relativement correct. Cet hôtel est en dessous de la norme Ibis. D'abord je suis passé 2 fois en voiture sans le voir,il faut revoir votre signalétique. Dans la diuche, distributeur de savon non rechargé, c'est très désagréable. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est risible,je n'ai jamais vu un buffet aussi pauvre et le café se fait avec des dosettes de poudre alors qu'il semble y avoir une machine à café, mais manifestement ce n'est pas pour les clients. Côté personnel, seul un employé français a été agréable ( c'est pour cette raison que je ne mets pas qu'une seule étoile) ,le reste est à former en ce qui concerne l'accueil client. Bref, si je repasse à Newcastle, j'éviterai cet Ibis.

les chambres côté rue ne sont pas suffisamment insonorisées. le personnel a pris en compte notre remarque nous en a proposé une autre,côté cour, très tranquille. Un bémol concernant le système de réservation internet accessible depuis un poste à durée limitée situé à l'accueil de l'hotel
