Our overnight stay was pleasant

I was arriving late with my mum and sister arriving earlier in the afternoon. The representative was so rude and interrogated me whether I was actually staying. My sister was treated extremely poorly to the point that we did not feel comfortable staying at the property. I frequently stay at this property however I will now look elsewhere. This is not how I expect to be treated especially as an elite level member (Diamond). Poor form, will raise with our Account Manager.

Apart from the random hairs that I noted in the bathroom the worst part was the cigarette smoke which permeated throughout the room.

Mercure Charlestown is always my “port of call” when I stay in Newcastle. Handy location, clean rooms, excellent front desk and restaurant staff.

Booked late on afternoon, due to having renos done at home and couldn't stay in the house. Received an upgrade which made it a very pleasant surprise, spacious room, great food and very quite.
