This was our 3rd? stay at the Playford. We come every year for the Adelaide Festival and request the same suite. We always enjoy our stay - the staff are helpful and very pleasant, the breakfasts are very good (although much too tempting) and the bar food is good. The only complaint I have is that the bar doesn't stay open past 10pm which seems ridiculous during the Festival.

The only improvement is that the room haven’t been cleaned properly like still hair left over in the bathroom and the bed, either from the cleaner or the last stay. And the table is still a bit dirty of some food marks haven’t been wiped off.

We stayed for over a week, during which time all the staff we met were helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. We loved access to an open window. Breakfast and other food and drink services were great. Big praise for the Portuguese tarts - very delicious! We were in Adelaide for Hayllar's festival package, with extra days for Writers Week and Womadelaide, your location was perfect for all of these activities. Thank you for an excellent stay.
